Yes it grows back but what’s growing is from another root. The one burnt dies for sure. I have done experiments. If more are growing then it means you have gaps with sand in there which is germinating seeds and for that you will have to fill it with polymer sand.
Yeeeeessss!!! Trying to avoid roundup, (and not being from America where there’s all sorts of sophisticated products)… THIS IS THE BEST SOLUTION BY FAR!!! Thank you. 🙏🏾
that really doesn't work I'm a gardener by profession and you only burn the top layer the rest doesn't the roots are around 3 to 4 meters deep so that burning doesn't make sense
@@ArneWidding Not really sure what's hard to believe about that. I have the same issue. I've used chemicals in the past. The chemicals worked; however, new weeds would grow in new spots. That's not to say the treatment was ineffective. It's just the nature of the beast. I'll try this method.
😂 ok, listen to what you just said... "had them last month, works great." So, yes it does work, it is 100% going to grow back because you aren't killing the tap root, yes they do have a tap root or they wouldn't be coming thru the pavers. You had them a month ago, you had to burn them more than once. What you are claiming IS NOT HOW THESE PLANTS WORK.
No. Where I had them last month was NOT the same place they grew. They grew entirely at a different place which will happen regardless of how you kill them. They just won’t grow at same place if you burn. It does kill the roots.
AND, if you follow up this method with electrifying your patio with 20,000 volts under foot, you will prevent burglars too. Just don't expect to ever receive any post in future, or visitors! You might receive the odd law suit or two of course.
Your doing it wrong you don't burn the weed you touch the weed with the burner quickly there are other videos on RUclips that explains how this works but basically the weed root boils. If you burn them to nothing they will come back!
Yea it does kill the root. The trick is to keep burning it until it’s all burned. It dries out the root. You can do an experiment in a separate pot and you will see how it damages the root. Trust me on that. I have spent some time on this and burning is the best solution. The weeds that come back are not from the same root. They are new weeds. Weeds will always come back. It’s an open atmosphere and birds and insects spread the seeds so it’s unavoidable. The trick is to kill it as they come. They won’t grow at same place and stay in control.
@@HowToDoitright True! They are new weeds. I swear I don't think some of these people even have pavers in their yard. I bought the same device but can't seem to get the great flame like you do here. Thanks for posting.

Instructions were unclear. House is now on fire
Lol
😂😂
When fun outweighs the efficacy 😂🔥💯
Best way to do it is to pick them from the ground and microwave them for roughly 31 minutes. Theyll be crisped by then 🔥💥😫👌😅
Sets my whole yard on fire 😂
It doesn't kill the entire thing. They all grow back. I've used the torch plenty of times on my weeds.

Step 1 - Increase insurance policy on your house
Step 2 - Burn Weeds
Step 3 - Dial 911
Step 4 - Call contractor to clear ash & ruble then rebuild house.
😂😂😂😂😂
Also useful for xenomorphs
Bleach and dawn in a garden sprayer😊 Been doing it for years WORKS 😅👌🖖👋
If you’ve had to do it for years, how does it work
Make sure it's dawn or a soap without ammonia otherwise mustard gas ...
How often do u have to do this with bleach and dawn?
Best idea without removing rock bed. Already have dry and dead weeds.
It is amazing how these plants manage to survive and thrive in harsh conditions.
True. God is great
Sure kills curb appeal
Does the fire remove the pigment from the paver?
You don't need to burn it completely, heat it till it's wilting, it will die, then burn it off when it dries
Ahh didn’t know. Good tip. Thanks. Will try that next time
Yep this is the way to do it. They are really flammable once dead and that’s how you can really get rid of them once they are dried out
I did this and they grew back.
They will grow back but those newly grown weeks are new weeds from new seeds. You have to use polimer sand to block future growth.
The first flower that you focused is very useful in fighting DENGUE.
Hi, would you mind posting a link from Amazon to purchase one? I’d greatly appreciate it! 😊
Here it is. It’s a good one.
amzn.to/3zyWzdZ
This works for 1yr. They will grow back next year. I burn every year.
They grow back but not at same place. Weeks are unavoidable.
@@HowToDoitright How would you know? You said you've only done it for some months. I do this every year.
@@bokononisti2820 I was talking aBout this particular area. On my front yard I have been trying stuff for years. Watch my old videos you will see.
mine grew back same year

Yeah that sounds lovely on a 90° day
What’s the name of that contraption that you bought on Amazon ?
I believe it's called a flamethrower 😂
something like a flame torch for propane tanks
its a weed torch
Pressure wash and sand seal. Bam
I pressure wash my brick patio too to get rid of weeds but what do I do with sand?
@@walkerpanterayou sweep the sand in between the cracks of the pavers. Just pour a pile on and then sweep across the patio.
@@bboichirok661what sort of sand?
Definitely doesn’t kill all of them down to the roots that are growing up under those nice protective blocks.
Wouldn't it leave stains ?
No if your pavers are not sealed. If they are sealed with clear coat then yes it can.
Does this burn or stain the pavers?
Nope. If there is no clear coat then it won’t. Pavers are baked in high heat. That’s how they are made so they can withstand the heat
Throwing bunch of salt pn the floor doesn't work?
So what do you do after? Pull the dead part or will it just go away? I just got a torch on Amazon
you wilt the plants, wait a few days and then pull
They still grow back
Yes at other places but not the same ones.
Better than the chemical one ?
They are just going to grow back stronger
They’ll be back in a week now with fertilizer
it's fun to use but it stains pavers and the plants do return. Really bad idea.
No it only stains the pavers if pavers have clear coat on them.
that really doesn't work I'm a gardener by profession and you only burn the top layer the rest doesn't the roots are around 3 to 4 meters deep so that burning doesn't make sense
Trust me it works. I have tried it and nothing worked for me but this method. They don’t grow back!!!
Yet you claimed you did it one month ago and the weed is everywhere…

@@AllAmericanGuy01 he said: “They don’t grow back”, yet you can clearly see in the video they did.
Seems like its best to spray first to kill root then burn off to avoid having to pull by hand.

Only use on bricks, be safe, keep away from the house,
Good point
Where u can get that
Amazon or harbor freight
Mask your face, spray w/the wind(not against) low to the ground and use Round Up 365 (Commercial Strength)
No I don’t like roundup chemicals

I wish it was more like a blowtorch
You’ll get burn marks on your pavers…. 👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽
@@lfroio1 nope. Pavers are baked to begin with with much higher heat. This only get burn marks if it’s sealed.
