Not many people would probably have the same reasoning I did for getting this figure: following Chasmosaurus itself and Torosaurus, it's only the *3rd* chasmosaurine with a name not ending in "-ceratops." And then, last year, we got a 4th, Terminocavus. Extra tidbit: all of these names refer to features of the frills. Chasmosaurus and Torosaurus refer to the fenestrae, Spiclypeus to the eppoccipitals, and Terminocavus to the nearly complete sealing of the embayment at the top of the frill.
While this isn’t my favorite figure of the line (or even wave 2) I really like the figure and it’s awesome to see this obscure species get a figure like this
A very colourful beasts of the mesozoic Ceratopsian figure that's for sure. I'm still admittedly on the fence regarding this particular figure, a benefit would be it's smaller size not being a problem for my collection/storage situation. However. There's for some reason nothing that's making me majorly want it. Perhaps because it's not one of the more famous species? I'm not sure. I will admit though it's bright colouration is definitely eye catching and it will obviously stand out wherever it's displayed, I don't know if I will get it yet but who knows I might change my mind in the future. I agree btw that blue eye is very nice, refreshing to see another video from you Matthew.
