- The Perfect F1 GOAT Line. I Challenge you to find it - lets make it go Viral so someone figures out the perfect line. Everyone that suggests F1 GOAT Line in comments with more points than mine - I will make a video about it.
Step 1 - We calculated every race with the 2023 point system
Step 2 - Divided total points won with TOTAL races in the season
Step 3 - Chose the first driver from the 1950 Grid
Step 4 - Each Season we add the average points for the chosen driver to the GOAT Line
Step 5 - You are stuck with the chosen driver until his last season
This means even when he takes sabbatical years
Step 6 - Choose your next driver from the Grid of the season after your driver retires
GO ON UNTIL YOU GET TO 2023
Step 7 - Sum the points
I went with Fangio, Moss, Clark, Stewart, Lauda, Senna, Schumacher and Hamilton.
P.S The sabbatical years destroyed my F1 GOAT Line, make sure to consider them in your line! Sometimes the most obvious choices are actually bad for your line.

I thin kmost would pick the same as you, except Prost instead of Senna
my F1 GOAT line
1950-1958:Juan Manuel Fangio(he does miss 1952 season)
1959-1961:Stirling Moss
1962-1967:Jim Clark(his 1968 season is quite unfinished because he died)
1968-1974:Denny Hulme
1975-1981:Carlos Reutemann(he didn't finish the 1982 F1 season)
1982-1993:Alain Prost(he does miss 1992 season)
1994-2006:Michael Schumacher
2007-2022:Sebastian Vettel
2023-present:Max Verstappen
But the thing is Michael Schumacher was back, so you have to go through his sabbatical years until 2013 - I made the same mistake in the video. There has to be better choice. You could choose Vettel in 2013 but that is already past his prime, so not sure.

I would go with:
Fangio -1958
Brabham 1959 - 1970
Emerson Fittipaldi 1971 - 1980
Alain Prost 1981 - 1993
Damon Hill 1994 - 1999
Ralf Schumacher 2000 - 2007
Hamilton 2008 - 2023
To be honest Ralf is just there to fill the gap, although he was quite a good driver

Don’t want to start a war in the comments but with the amount of races now and how young max started if the Red Bull stays good I could definitely see him passing Lewis in wins and possibly championships. Max will be near the 50 win mark by the end of the season about halfway to Lewis and he’s only 25
I agree, but this line is made from Average Points per season, so the increase in races is normalized
let's just wait for Verstappen future in F1 with his Red Bull contract extended or to be expired=leave the sport(mainly his dislikes for the sprints format) or moving another F1 team
Nobody claims they will have a great car next year and so on.
Fernando was definitely better than Vettel. He was there after the Schumi era. There is no driver who can do what he did in the Ferrari years. Besides, Prost is definitely better than Lauda. It was a big mistake not to include the 4-time world champion, who is on par with Senna.
I agree, I choose Senna so I could pick Schumacher, both not good choices because of Schumacher sabbatical

Schumacher, even though is obvious choice, has too many sabbatical years and one DSQ, I made the same mistake (If you are trying to find the perfect F1 GOAT Line)

Tried to minimise years lost to sabbatical and make sure I chose drivers who retired in good cars so they didn’t have too many uncompetitive seasons
