I remember trying Plague Knight when it was released. I was so awful at it, I just thought it was wildly difficult for those that were bored with the Shovel Knight campaign. This week, I've tried it again, and I'm having a lot of fun. Once you get used to him, he seems a bit OP.
It took me 1-2 stages to get used to Plague Knight's control. I tried many different Arcanas and combination of bombs to get through stages, it was really cool.
As a plague veteran, I can say that this is really insightful and informative. I love the structure and how simple, but effective it is. Terrificly done.
This is really cool stuff. Never thought I'd find a guide on this, but it's very welcome since Plague really has the highest skill ceiling out of all of the playable characters. His movement is so wild and flexible, yet powerful and rewarding. Also, I'm secretly using this to get a better handle of him in Showdown also XD
The name was coined by Yacht Club Games themselves, iirc. In Plague Knight's "Tips and Tricks" page they posted a while back, they show how to do it, but nobody really knows about that article lol

I actually did know about that page (Way after I already knew everything about Plague Knight), but I didn't know that chaining bomb bursts had a name
