28:10 Attacking with Doomguard first is best against ALL traps. In wandering monster case, Doomguard dies either way, Bot is on 6 health, and more damage is done to face; win win win.
If he had, he would deal 7 damage to face leaving enemy on 13.
Next turn, some as he did. Deal 7 damage to face, leave enemy on 6.
Enemy can't clear 9 health on the field.
Bonemare Necromancer to deal 6 to face. Win...

Misplay at 16:32. He should have traded the 2/4 I to the 3/2, then trade the wasp and then trade the 2/2 which would clear but he would still have a 2/1 on board

You haven't played any arena in the new expansion until now? It seems most of the aoe board clear doesn't show up anymore.
After 1 or 2 arenas I went 12 wins twice, both with warlock I think. Maybe it was just my experience, but 1 drops dont matter much. Having a 2 drop is great, but having good value cards that can catch back up on the board worked for me
Yep, one of my 12w runs with warlock had me tapping most turn 2s. Feels like late game cards have gotten better so aggro decks are suffering if they can't keep up the pressure with later drops (or win the game with burst damage).
I think Hunter is in an a'ight spot. Had my first (and likely only) 12-0 with a hunter deck the other day. The hero power is so good against all the warlocks.
Love me some salt on my food. Salt on Kripp is getting old.

I got my first 12 win run yesterday as warrior with tons of removal, 2 slam 2 execute 3 warpaths, was it a super lucky draft or does warrior seem to get spells more

Mine actually went 0-3. And for legendaries so far I got Zerek and Stealthy Trash (that card doesn't desserve such a cool name, so from now on I will call it that)

When arena had lots of board clears, kripp complained "boardclear after boardclear", "arena is the mode where you are supposed to play with bad cards, otherwise its jusr another constructed". When arena became just that, kripps final thought were: "i am not sure i like arena without spells"

Kripp misplayed pretty hard in the 4-2 game. If he'd went face with the Doomguard, the Doomguard would've killed the 3/3 and he would've dealt one extra face. The Doomguard was going to die anyways to the AoE, so it was the best target for all traps. That meant the next turn the Grim Necro would've lived, which would've gotten Bonemared, which would've been exact lethal.

Everyone is talking about how bad the kaboom bot instead of doomguard into secret face was terrible. But what about the play at 27:00 where he got the doom guard out in the first place. I think that play is even worse. He could of easily played kaboom bot and sunfury to challenge the board, and have 2 extra 5 drops to recover against the tempo the hunter inevitably got. I think that is what lost him the game in the long run.
