This deck did exactly as well as Kripp's best deck ever...that says somethin right there.

The only factor that is important is that luck had nothing to do with it. Only that Kripp is the best and has to deal with opponents luck
It's not so much that the tier score isn't very good as much as the tier score is measuring only one aspect of the deck. Skill, synergy, and of course luck are also important, and the tier score doesn't measure that.
Infinity Sparks agreed but the fact it doesn't take synergy into consideration is what makes it bad. Ive had the same experiences as kripp where I've had insane mage decks by tier score not actually do very well yet have had went 6-3 with a 60 druid deck and 9-3 with a 61 rogue deck. its not just the synergy it doesn't account for but rather the overall balance of the deck. you can have all the board clears and premium spells but without the minions to back it up your deck can really suffer.
His "worst" deck is my usual deck on regular basis. Who's never lucky now?

He says that the quality of Arena decks goes up over time, so it's entirely possible that he'll never draft a deck worse than this one going forward.

When I hear you talk about RNG draws in Hearthstone and tons of its bullshit, I remember Gwent and feel good. You really should try it, it's one of the most skill-based card games out there now I think.

60.1? Jeez, the lowest one I've ever drafted was 61.8. It was a Priest deck right after GvG came out, and somehow I managed a 5-3 out of it... then got a 2-3 on a 68.9 Paladin right after. Arena is weird.

1 mana 4/5 battlecry reduce the cost of the next card your opponent plays by 2.
4 mana 9/9 battlecry reduce the cost of the next card your opponent plays by 3.

Okay, can anyone explain how a person drawing flamestrike on the 4th turn he needed it is a topdeck. I mean that is like having to deal with a big minion and after 4 turn finally drawing your polymorph, is that a topdeck?
ive been thinking blizzard pairs you with other people who drafted similar card quality. I've had amazing dr boom / reno decks go 4-3 then had a deck i literally wanted to redraft right after making it go 12-1

i think the arena score is widely off the mark there the deck is not amazing obviously but pretty much average for what you would expect in the arena. actually quite a bit of synergy too

Sylvannas. Went from the best 5 drop in the game to the best 6 drop in the game and is still considered the best all around legendary.

I don't play arena all that often but I've never drafted a deck that is 70+ points. My decks generally fall in the 62-67 poinst range.

Sometimes you keep consecration in the opening hand if you're going second. I believe Kripp's wrong on that point. Don't get me wrong, his play was clearly the best at that point, but keeping consec is not "never"

i would like to see kripp do an arena where he only pic the worst cards with the hearth arena stats
that flamestrike wasn't 1/16. he had 2 or 3 chances to draw it (that is,.I'm pretty sure he had 2 or 3 mystery cards in his hand from after you deduced that he had no flamestrike in hand). One could even say that he lost a 40% chance to draw the card on the few turns earlier when he needed it...
I have seen worse.
Mana Curve was ok and it had some card draw and late game minions.
Wal Rider most of the time the best rated decks end with no card draw and no curve and end up at 1-3

I've had 7 drafts rated below 60 by Heartharena. Makes me wonder how long or how much he's been tracking his runs, because I know he's played a shit ton more arena than I have. That's in 608 tracked arena runs for me.
