Leave this place. The 'meme' that is thelegend27 was made for advertising purposes. With this, the commercialising of memes has begun, and we must stop it. Begone, vile spawn of satan! Vadre Retro, satanas!
It has nothing with "commercialising", the whole idea of memes is to run a satire on popular things, and because this commercial is popular people are making memes about it.
Easy nerf. Instead of "Shuffle 3 copies of this card into your deck" replace it with "Shuffle 3 'Summon a _/_ Jade Idol into your deck.'" A card that just makes you immune to fatigue by itself and has infinite value by itself is absolutely insane.
Kikimora Kikimorova regardless, infinite value and completely avoiding fatigue in any deck would be absolutely insane in ANY deck, let alone Jade Druid. Jade Idol wouldn't be a big deal if it wasn't for the fact that it alone can beat any control deck.
For me it was Pirate Warrior, yes I know that if you play an incredibly specific deck that you counter that, but if Blizzard is ok with even the remote possibility of a deck that consistently wins by turn 4, then I'm out. I have been getting into Shadow Verse, and despite the weeb graphics, it's a pretty good game.
Im on the verge of quitting but i still log in every now and then. I dont even like the game anymore its just the fact that i spend a lot of time on it and its hard to let it go.
Mathmachine I see what you did there. I guess Hearthstones gonna need some patches to fix the meta... No but seriously:D As mentioned at some point in the video, the pure existence of Jade Idol shits all over the meta. Decks like control warrior that could actually keep aggro in check cannot exist in hearthstone as long as Jade Idol is part of the standard cycle. You can not justify playing a deck that is centered around removal and grinding your opponent, bc those sorts of decks will always get farmed by druid. With that in mind, the fact that Jade Druid exists gives aggro a big push. Imho Jade Idol is broken, however, Jade Druid is not. The deck is fine. It actually does have alot of decisionmaking, multidimensional development into the late game and some pretty tough times dealing with zoolike boards. If Blizzard allowed more combo & OTK decks, the game balance between control, jade druid and aggro could be restored. Druids not the problem, the problem is its missing counterparts that blizzard nerfed out of the game.
It sort of is, however. There are plenty of control decks that have the tools to deal with Pirate Warrior and the other aggro decks, but those control decks will NEVER be able to make it overall. They'll do alright against the aggro decks, but lose EVERY game against Jade Druid. That's just not good enough to stay in the meta. Without those control decks, aggro becomes the ONLY way to climb. Jade Druid is a problem unlike any we've ever seen before. Every problematic aggro deck ultimately depends, like every aggro deck, on pure luck; either you play on curve and your opponent doesn't have enough answers, or you don't. Patron Warrior was problematic because, while it didn't have ridiculously high winrates, it also didn't have a single bad matchup. If you knew how to play the deck, you could easily climb the ladder no matter what you faced. Jade Druid, on the other hand, while not being good against the aggro decks, completely shuts out EVERY control deck except one. No other deck has ever so restricted what is viable and what isn't.
Kubilay Doğru Well, 1 mana summon an 8/8 seems a bit strong. All Jade cards are innately strong, but the only reason they aren't played is because the aggro decks are FAR stronger. If we ever wanted a control meta, Jades in general would have to be nerfed. But in the meantime, I plan on playing my Aya'zoth Rogue.
We are waiting for a control meta since Naxx. So don't ge tyour hopes up. If it happens than I would agree and I could agree with 2 mana jade idol but 3 cards that goes into your deck costing 2 mana is just makes it a meme card not a balanced one.
The only time this is broken is with Fandral. Any other time, it's a really slow thing. So slow that choosing to shuffle 3 in your deck will lose you so much tempo you will just lose.
haha that's the problem kripp's getting at, they made a control counter card in a meta where aggro/tempo is dominant, more aggro decks in the ladder to counter that druid nice!
My favorite decks before Gadgetzan to play was Dragon Priest, Control- Deathrattle Rogue, Control Warrior and Control Paladin... Fuck me right? Played for 2 years, and now for the first time concidering quiting for good
Dank Potatoes control warrior and dragon priest are still good. control warrior just reverts back to a pre-Elise version thats heavy with threats and dragon priest can beat jade easily. control paladin and rogues are just memes so...
I'm very thankful to jade druid for pushing control warrior out of the meta. That nonsense existed in almost every meta and was ridiculously unfun to play against. Before you ask: yes, even more unfun than against face decks. Just my perception though.
Ahhhh finally... A fellow Hearthstoner who hates Control Warriors heart and soul. At least face decks had to move their minions. All these Control Warriors ever do is use removals where appropriate, get out Justicar early, press the Button and win the game. It's almost as if they aren't playing the game at all. Although I have them to thank for for many fun experiences. I hate(d) them so much I actually made it my mission to practice against them till I was good enough to beat them consistently. Naturally I gravitated towards decks that performed very well against them... The WOTOG-Karazhan meta especially had me busting many a Control Warrior's party. I'd like to think of myself as the Boogeyman Control Warriors tell each other about right before they go to sleep. They may be gone now, but I'm actually looking forward to them reappearing again. I miss making these people cry.
TheStrongestBaka Same here. I agree that Jade Idol is somewhat ridiculous in some extent, but I sure am not sorry for CW. Come on man. Do you enjoy 20 minute matches against a person whose entire goal is to slow and delay the game until fatigue? Hating control warrior is not mutually inclusive with loving aggro shaman (the new hunter, btw).
Zedek control - fatigue > aggro - face waiting 20 minutes is being able to get your combo or even giving you multiple chances of coming back, now turn 4 with a 7/7 and a 3/4 and a 4/3 trogg, not fair :p
I would prefer a system called racism basically multiplying a minions power depending on how many of one type of minion there is on the board like 'pirate' and 'jade'. However I don't think jade is a type
He would run over to the card, draw on it to make it an 8/8, run back and then destroy it. Although, he does have rather small arms so it could be a challenge to draw
Please tell me what other deck can draw your whole deck while creating threats on board? None right? because what people in hs call combo is just playing all the cards in your hand, that is not what combo means in MTG. THIS deck is my favorite because it reminds me of MTG, that's all I said. Go search up ascendancy storm if you wanna know what I mean.
Control decks were the only thing I liked about this fucking game. Every expansion just makes them worse and worse and I can't go to wild because goblins vs gnomes still haunts my dreams.
Kripp try this miracle jade Druid deck, I use it a lot and it is really fun to play. Plus i didn't test it at rank 20 so you know it is good. Innervate x2 Raven idol x2 Jade idol x2 Living roots x2 Wrathx2 Wild growth x1 Coldlight oracle x2 Feral rage x2 Healing touch x2 Mulch x2 Jade Blossom x2 Frandral staghelm Swipe x2 Aruze drake x2 Nourish x2 Emporer thaurissan Gadgetzan auctioneer x2 Just survive using spells until massive gadgetzan turns, I can usually use 6+ in one turn and clear board and get to bottom of deck where you use other draws or gadgetzan to play lots of jade idols. You will sometimes get 12/12 golems or bigger. I like extra healing to survive longer but moonfire/ power of the wild for 3/2 in early game works to. Hope you like it I am climbing the ladder with it.
As someone that loves control its true. Jade Druid killed control decks out of the meta. Reno Lock is more of a combo deck than a control deck. Dragon Priest I guess is close but thats more tempo than control. There really needed to be a few cards that reset the jade cards back to 1 to allow counter play to Jade decks
I'm messing around with a jade/yogg/arcane golem druid ramp deck, running one copy of gadgetzan auctioneer. it gets nuts late game, I usually hold onto both innervates in the deck and draw a lot of cards when it hits the table. It's a hit or miss deck. the arcane golems are pretty solid when dropped and keep with the tempo
Hey Kripp! Hope you get to read this. Do you think if Jade Idol read as "Summon a jade golem or add 3 copies of jade scrolls in your deck", the scrolls being spells that just summon the golem and nothing else, Jade druid would stop being a problem? That way you'd limit the amount of golems they can have throughout the game and also make the deck need more decision making as you kinda have to get Jade Idols instead of removal from Raven Idols if you want more steam lategame.
Asubatsu every successful deck in this game's history requires almost no thought with the exception of: miracle, patron and handlock in their respective dominance eras.
it seems you are actually right...and they nerfed those decks by killing the skillful cards: warsong commander, gadgetzan auctioneer, blade flurry, molten giant...
Zhu Zhong While those cards may not have required skill the decks that were succesful thanks to them were. A single card can never be skill intensive that's not how cardgames work. It's the combination of cards and winconditions that make a deck require skill.
This is true, but aggro decks exist as a natural byproduct of how this game is designed. Blizzard meanwhile intentionally designed the Jade Druid from the ground up, a deck that sounded cool on paper but in practice requires even fewer brain-cells than your average face deck. The deck single-handedly kills one of the most nuanced archetypes in the game (fatigue) and ensures that very few slow decks can be viable. Blizzard must have known this would happen when they decided to print a card that cycles infinitely and has unlimited value.
0:30 Good matchups: Renolock, Reno Priest, Reno Mage, Piracle Rogue Even with: Dragon Priest Bad Matchups: Pirate Warrior, Pirate Shaman 2-slot solution to the bad matchups: Mistress of Mixtures (seriously, it works) Really, I run a budget list and have consistent success. This deck isn't being played for shits and giggles.
+John Cena in other decks u have good late game cards if you draw bad, but in jade druid, your jades are weak if you can't do anything in the early game and your ramp is pointless.
The last time I played Hearthstone, every single match I had against Jade Druid was just like the first one in this video... I ended up teching a second Twisting Nether and a second Shadowflame into my Reno Lock, and it still wasn't enough. After every board clear, they immediately drop 3+ ridiculously large minions, and usually at least one with taunt, meaning Leeroy Combo doesn't stand a chance, if you can even get them down to 20 in the first place. Like you said... Control = 100% loss. I was able to stall it out until fatigue multiple times, but that's where Jade Idol's OP bullshit really shines. I finally said "fuck it", dropped Hearthstone and started playing Overwatch.
Just go for it. A good player can reach Legend with any deck, really... Each player has their own unique style so as long as you find a deck that suits you, no matter what others say about the deck, you'll do well with it. Hell, I reached my highest ever ranking so far with Renolock, at a time when that deck was almost never played and considered not-suitable-for-meta deck lol. "Tier 3 deck," they said.... yeah right. XD I also started building, playing and refining my Jade Shaman deck at the start of Gadgetzan, back when everyone was still riding the Jade Druid hype train. I was probably the only Jade Shaman at the time (I simply enjoyed playing Jade Shaman more than Druid)... Did very well with it. And only recently everyone is starting to switch to Shaman for their dose of shiny, green golems lol. Find a deck that suits your style of play, that you enjoy, and just ignore what everyone else says. :-)
+Monarch Prometheus I tech according to what I find myself mostly going up against on the day so it varies. I tried the N'zoth variant for a time too, which is a greedier version of Renolock compared to the old Leeroy-Faceless combo. The point is I keep all my decks pretty fluid and flexible and they are in a constant state of flux.
I've been waiting since MSG released to try out a C'thun warrior deck list I've been saving up my dust for. The one bad match up for it is Jade druid. I've been praying to Brode that people where going to give up on Jade Druid but after seeing this it looks like there will be a resurgence from seeing this video :( its a hard knock life
Unlike one would think, from my experience, Savjz's Mill Rogue does actually quite nice (of all the control decks) against Jade Druid - that satisfaction of bouncing boardfull of big jades for extra mill with Prep+Vanish =D
Nefarious Nilbog after the success of the ridiculous 1-drop archetype-killing minions like Trogg and Small-Time Buccaneer, a 1-drop archetype-killing spell is the natural next step
To be Honest, to me the most frustrating decks to play against are Pirate Warrior (for obvious braindead face reasons) and Dragon Priest. Dragon Priest feels like playing overload 1 cards without actually overloading. The Dragon Synergies are just saying "you get Minions with better stats or strong straightforward effects, so go nuts". Absolutey hate playing against them.
I think the fix to Jade Idol would be either play a Jade Golem or shuffle 3 Jade Golems (not idols) into your deck. At least this would limit the amount of times they could use it. And the Jade Golems should cost more than 1 mana to play.
aznable1000 It gives control decks a chance, longer you stall out a jade deck you will simply lose whereas a pirate deck if you lived past turn 5 your good, theyre out of cards
Honestly i would nerf jade idol like this.... [a 1 mana card that reads: choose one: summon a jade golem or summon three copies of this card into your deck that cost (3) more mana.] So while this allows you to get additional value for a single card, it doesn't guarantee INFINITE value. It also for clarification, means that the copies into the deck cost 4 mana to use, and if you use the copy effect again those copies will then cost 7 mana. This means that while you can continue to get jade idols, they won't all come down on the same turn late game.
What about a tavern brawl with lots of AoE clears and heals, but instead of just doing damage or healing the board, it also affects the health of the minions in your hand
I made a Pay to Win Druid deck. It has Reno Jackson in it, C'thun cards, Aviana, and Kun with tons of legendaries and big big bodies. It BEATS ASS and make so many rage quit.
As much kripp is a crybaby, i do agree that jade druid is no decision making and no skill required deck. Its you super lose turn 5 death, or complete destruction no comback chance for opponent type of deck. Although if there would be no jade druiud priests would fuck everyone in this meta.
Jade druid might be strong, but I have been playing jade druid, and I almost always loose to cancer decks, like pirate warrior, shaman, and rouge. I've went to playing dragon priest because it can actually do good against both aggro, and control decks.
I don't know why people always complain about a certain deck being brain dead. It takes some experience and even less skill to actually play decks like pirate warrior. For other decks like control decks you need specific cards which are usually more expensive than the cards in midrange and aggro decks, control decks can also be considered brain dead. Also you can't blame other people for their good luck and your bad luck. People will also play decks within their budget which usually happens to be aggro and midrange.
I've played a hell of a lot of Reno Mage, and even though Jade druid is clearly the worst match-up, you can tech a few cards that'll help you get some %. First of all, that's the most important: they don't have hard single target removal, so your Ragnaros, if he hits an empty board, just might stick for more than a few turns (ragnaros on an empty board is pretty much your win condition vs jade druid) Then, you need to be able to pressure the board early on: maybe get a wyrm ,and some more early game pressure. Anyways, this deck indeed sucks, but is still beattable with reno mage and many aggro decks. I have good hopes that this meta will actually be interesting with three deck archetypes (pirates/reno/jade) getting their turn as the flavor of the week.
I think the should limit the deck size by 36 cards. Jade idol will still have good value, but it is letting other control decks compete in the control match up. Hopfully the limit would make it easier to build control decks to counter the aggresive meta, without getting to punished.
Jade druid with 2x violet teachers and 2x claws performs about aswell as the higher cost version - if you're new to the game make it, its cheap, also has 2x gadgetzans instead too.
they are very different from traditional control decks like control warrior, control priest, control paladin. They all have some ways of burst killing the opponent, not out value them.
Honestly, I called this before the expansion came out, and I never understood why people didn't see this. Jade Idol isn't an inherently good card, it's just good for shutting down grinder/fatigue/mill decks. It doesn't add anything to the game, just makes it so that as soon as slow decks get strong, everyone plays whatever the most aggressive Druid deck is with one copy of this card, and the slow meta evaporates. It is a card which is only bad for game balance, winning against any slow deck on its' own, while not contributing in any meaningful way against aggressive decks. But everyone was just so worked up about Priest getting a Flamestrike that doesn't hit Azure Drake and a legendary that might clear the board on turn five sometimes. Welcome to another twelve months of aggressive meta, guys, 'cause blizzard's design philosophy just seems to be to make aggressive decks stronger and stronger with no meaningful counters. Admittedly, I did call the meta a little wrong though. I thought Midrange Shaman was gonna stay top dog, because control had nothing to beat it. Didn't consider the possibility that we might just go even more aggressive. Again. *Sighs* Please, Bliz. Actually valuable control cards next expansion, please. Something at least on par with the aggressive bullshit you keep churning out.
I`m supposed to dominate the comment section, but this one Kripperino keeps kicking my ass

I remember when the most annoying deck was zoo. Now I'm actually glad when I see someone playing zoo
yeah thats cuz zoo is really awful right now and its basically a free win...

Hard to admit that you are not the best 1 cost spell in the game.
Just face it jade idolerino, just face it!

"There will be a day when Kripp doesn't complain about his opponent... but it is not this day"
MrHotBagel Because noone complains when the opponent wins with luck, right?
you mean every mage i face when i get 4 3-5 cost cards in my starting hand and the chance of that happening is 100%
Easy nerf.
Instead of "Shuffle 3 copies of this card into your deck" replace it with "Shuffle 3 'Summon a _/_ Jade Idol into your deck.'"
A card that just makes you immune to fatigue by itself and has infinite value by itself is absolutely insane.
The DanD guy still the card sucks a lot against aggro and even if you don't lose to fatigue, you should be far in the Jade building else it sucks
Kikimora Kikimorova regardless, infinite value and completely avoiding fatigue in any deck would be absolutely insane in ANY deck, let alone Jade Druid. Jade Idol wouldn't be a big deal if it wasn't for the fact that it alone can beat any control deck.
that's usually how you lose: you die before you win
but dying turn 4 is fine, right? because that happens more often on ladder than druid getting infinite value.
Kael completely negating a deck archetype with one card is at the very least a little insane.
This deck finally made me ragequit Hearthstone for good. I haven't played for a whole week.
astral druid is kicking ass this meta, i like it

The card text basically means never run out of minions and the only card that saves jade Druid from the worst deck ever
Merry Christmas from the Emerald Dream!!! :D
The "copies" shouldn't be able to put 3 copies of themselves in the deck again.
They should be just: Summon a Jade Golem

I'm messing around with a jade/yogg/arcane golem druid ramp deck, running one copy of gadgetzan auctioneer. it gets nuts late game, I usually hold onto both innervates in the deck and draw a lot of cards when it hits the table. It's a hit or miss deck. the arcane golems are pretty solid when dropped and keep with the tempo
Could you build and play Patches Gang Up combo Rougue? I't's really interesting deck.
Ive been playing that sick shamen deck you made and it is still so much fun. The jade/white eyes one
Me too. Me too
What would you recommend me crafting, Kazakus or bloodmage
" very little decision making, very straightforward play, very annoying, and amazingly destructive to the meta."
So... every aggro deck, ever?
Asubatsu every successful deck in this game's history requires almost no thought with the exception of: miracle, patron and handlock in their respective dominance eras.
DATskorge And what do all those decks have in common? They were nerfed because Blizzard doesn't want their game to involve skill apparantly......
it seems you are actually right...and they nerfed those decks by killing the skillful cards: warsong commander, gadgetzan auctioneer, blade flurry, molten giant...
Zhu Zhong
While those cards may not have required skill the decks that were succesful thanks to them were.
Hi, what's the name of the add on that's kreep using? cheers
I took what you said into account and played a buff, n'zoth hunter for fat tempo swings and it trolls so well. You might like it.
"this turn, I'll summon a larger and larger man, which will allow me later on to summon an even larger man!"
Every time a jade golem is played, a Reno priest dies inside.
any day that a mage with its 100 overpowered spells gets shit on is a good day for me
Crash Bandicoot if i could favorite a commect i would favorite this comment.
hey kripp, are rhonin and antonidas replaceable?
0:30 Good matchups: Renolock, Reno Priest, Reno Mage, Piracle Rogue
Even with: Dragon Priest
Bad Matchups: Pirate Warrior, Pirate Shaman
2-slot solution to the bad matchups: Mistress of Mixtures (seriously, it works)
Really, I run a budget list and have consistent success. This deck isn't being played for shits and giggles.
What is that deck tracker called, it's different than the overwolf one
jade druid:
bad hand = lose
good hand = win
P00YA BDE kind of every deck ever
actually you can lose with a good hand in control vs control.
+John Cena
in other decks u have good late game cards if you draw bad, but in jade druid, your jades are weak if you can't do anything in the early game and your ramp is pointless.
I'm THINKING OF trying out jade pirate rogue. thoughts?
Just go for it. A good player can reach Legend with any deck, really... Each player has their own unique style so as long as you find a deck that suits you, no matter what others say about the deck, you'll do well with it.
Hell, I reached my highest ever ranking so far with Renolock, at a time when that deck was almost never played and considered not-suitable-for-meta deck lol. "Tier 3 deck," they said.... yeah right. XD
I also started building, playing and refining my Jade Shaman deck at the start of Gadgetzan, back when everyone was still riding the Jade Druid hype train.
The Annoying Orange Thanks!
Imagine a fucking tavern brawl where both players have 30 jade idols in their decks. Fun and interactive.
merry christmas! jesusrino Kripperino is bron on earth!
I don't know why , but I think in the next expansion Jade Druid will get some more cards to make it better . Kappa
Jade mechanic is really annoying and unfun, at least for me.
I've been waiting since MSG released to try out a C'thun warrior deck list I've been saving up my dust for. The one bad match up for it is Jade druid. I've been praying to Brode that people where going to give up on Jade Druid but after seeing this it looks like there will be a resurgence from seeing this video :( its a hard knock life
welcome back to kripp-complains
@16:30 If only there were one deck that beat everything and had virtually no bad match-ups. That would be the best meta ever, right? :DDD
Unlike one would think, from my experience, Savjz's Mill Rogue does actually quite nice (of all the control decks) against Jade Druid - that satisfaction of bouncing boardfull of big jades for extra mill with Prep+Vanish =D
LuL how to play hearthstone : log in- check your quests- play 50 murlocs- create deck with 30 murlocs- play them- fuck HS
Kripp before jade idol came out: " this card is going to be the best in the game". Kripp now: " this is just a dumb card".
That was some Salterino Kripperino at the beginning
Then how kolento is able to win with jade on legendary rank?
Couldn't agree more. They really need to remove a 1 mana card that lets you go infinite and kills control decks. 1 mana lol
Nefarious Nilbog after the success of the ridiculous 1-drop archetype-killing minions like Trogg and Small-Time Buccaneer, a 1-drop archetype-killing spell is the natural next step
Joe C I'm so sick of every game staring with pirates! Every game starting with the same Im in charge now!
jade druid, cthun druid, arcane giant druid, beast druid (jk nobody plays it), what next? dragon druid?
You're not thinking fishy enough. Murloc druid, my friend.
angry chicken magma rager druid
+H̶a̶u̶n̶t̶y̶u̶ Actually, i played that kind of shit before WotOG
Combo druid! Get malygos, then moonfire moon fire innervate wraith
This video just reminds me why I stopped playing this game and moved onto other CCGs.
I don't know if anyone ever thought of this, but I really want a Kripp bobblehead for my desk. It would make it that much more beautiful.
14:50 Come on Kripp ! That was a Mill deck ! x)
Thanks to Jade Idol.
in the correct hands is awesome, Kolento for example
Yt algorithm is too smart for me, I thought it recommended me another amazingly salty vid about KoFT jade infestation druid.
what did he said at the end ? "Jade Idol" ?
"I hate Jade Idol."
here we watch a video of kripp crying 3 games in a row
To be Honest, to me the most frustrating decks to play against are Pirate Warrior (for obvious braindead face reasons) and Dragon Priest. Dragon Priest feels like playing overload 1 cards without actually overloading. The Dragon Synergies are just saying "you get Minions with better stats or strong straightforward effects, so go nuts".
Absolutey hate playing against them.
Obey the meta, you shall obey and create a aggro pirate deck. The meta has spoken so obey it.
The deep dicking he gets from jade decks... had me lol'ing so much.
remember when we used to ask for a nerf in combo druid?
I think the fix to Jade Idol would be either play a Jade Golem or shuffle 3 Jade Golems (not idols) into your deck. At least this would limit the amount of times they could use it. And the Jade Golems should cost more than 1 mana to play.
people so salty that 20000 dust control decks aren't viable lol
I wish I watch Kripp stream so I can know if he's just... permasalty or only when he makes highlights
I want to build that yogg jade druid deck. looks fun
told you pirate warriors are rebels fighting the jade empire
I'd rather play pirates then play against jades
Getting obliterated literally before you can do anything is better because why?
less time wasted.
aznable1000 It gives control decks a chance, longer you stall out a jade deck you will simply lose whereas a pirate deck if you lived past turn 5 your good, theyre out of cards
@phoenix76666 unless they have leeroy
Can Jade Druid beat Moroes + Acidmaw though???
Video starts: 02:19
thanks to u i realised that i only need about 200-300 dust to build a good jade druid since i got aya from the free packs :D
I'm a simple man, if i see Jade i concede.
As much kripp is a crybaby, i do agree that jade druid is no decision making and no skill required deck. Its you super lose turn 5 death, or complete destruction no comback chance for opponent type of deck. Although if there would be no jade druiud priests would fuck everyone in this meta.
Артем Иванов renolock boy
but priest can easly steal a jade idol xD
anyway imo jade idol is not healthy at all it makes me wanna vomit :-{
merry krippsmas dad
First of all, that's the most important: they don't have hard single target removal, so your Ragnaros, if he hits an empty board, just might stick for more than a few turns (ragnaros on an empty board is pretty much your win condition vs jade druid)
Then, you need to be able to pressure the board early on: maybe get a wyrm ,and some more early game pressure.
Hopfully the limit would make it easier to build control decks to counter the aggresive meta, without getting to punished.
u should try c'thun and jade rouge since u only need blade of c'thun and c'thun himself for tht half and then u can fill the rest with jade cards
Hmmm, I dunno if Reno is really needed, but I imagine that warlock is pretty good against Jade decks due to Twisting Nether and Doom.
Any control deck except those that have an OTK finish?
It seems kind of odd to me that you know what beats Druid but aren't building a deck to do that :P
People do know what beats Druid. Any pirate aggro deck. And lots of people are playing that deck, such that Jade Druid isn't top tier anymore.
Yes but its shitty for people that dont wanna play pirate cancer.
runnin through Darnassus with my woes
Jade druid with 2x violet teachers and 2x claws performs about aswell as the higher cost version - if you're new to the game make it, its cheap, also has 2x gadgetzans instead too.
I fuck**ng hate this deck with all my soul and mind
krip man you better calm down on the sodium your kidneys aren't gunna be able to take it.
Skip: 2:19
0:44 Control Decks have exited the Meta? Wtf, Renolock is Tier 1, Miracle Rogue is Tier 1, which is control-ish, and Reno Priest is Tier 2.
Miracle Rogue control deck?
SlyGuy aggro shaman is tier 1, pirate warrior is tier 1 ...
they are very different from traditional control decks like control warrior, control priest, control paladin. They all have some ways of burst killing the opponent, not out value them.
Douglas Soares de Souza control-ish, you control the early game with removal
I can not see this Miracle Rogue as a control deck, it looks more like smorc with conceal and cold blood.
Again. *Sighs*
Please, Bliz. Actually valuable control cards next expansion, please. Something at least on par with the aggressive bullshit you keep churning out.
.... Everyone knew Jade idol would kill control. Look at the Reddit threads from when it was spoiled. We all predicted it would kill control.
