30:50 "You kind of have to recognize these moments where skipping vendor for something free is more valuable" Whenever you have an option to flat out gain something (gold, XP, random item), that becomes an opportunity cost. For example, the bronze skill that gains 10 gold really just makes every other bronze skill during that pick "cost" 13 (which makes it usually the best pick whenever it appears).
interesting way to think about this. But is it helpful? In the same way you´d have to say "gaining 13 gold comes at the cost of losing X-effect". In the end this feels pretty similar to me to "do I rather want 10 extra gold or lose some gold but gain a small permanent boost". Most of the time I´ll take the gold, but not because I feel "paying 13 gold for this is too expensive", but because I think "10 gold buys me something more powerful than that small boost and I don´t need the immediate effect". I´m trying to think of a situation were calculating cost like this leads me to different intuitions on which choice is best and I can´t think of any..
The burn item from enclave at 12:50 is when you gain regen, burn this amount. There is a skill that says you have regen equal to your enemies burn. Its an infinite loop within itself. If you have a ray build going its absolutely disgusting. 800 burn easily, and you are reggening that amount.
Maybe I'm just dumb, but it seems like monitor lizard still would've done better, even in a dedicated slow/snail build, due to all the haste procs you get from the core. Your core by default gives multiple haste procs per cast, but you have to use a board slot to even get one slow proc per cast on your core.
Hey krip i dont know if you will read this but keep a look out for the heavy snail because its broken because it slows 2 items for 2 or 3 and it instantly retriggers itself i got it once and my god it was ethical.
they are on vacation at the moment and he was playing path of exile all day before he left. he had those videos queued up, so we can at least have some content while they are gone
Slightly incorrect. He is playing on the same patch/version we are right now but he is playing before some hotfixes were rolled out. Hotfixes are not patch/version updates.
@@iMakeTheSpackle That is kind of weird from the devs though - the fact that balance-influencing changes were released without making it a new version number. If the version number doesn’t change at all, I would expect bug fixes at most
These old as shit games from a month or more ago aren't that useful to us these days. This build is great if you go for full slow, but it sucks fat shit against every meta build currently.
I mean this build wasn't really affected by the hotfixes much. The only thing we don't have now that he used were crit level up rewards but its still fairly easy to scale crit.
Craziest piece about Chemsnail is that he goes infinite solo with a slow enchant: slows 2 targets, fully charges
getting dock lines is also a big boon xd
so this is when you found out weapon ray was bugged
gotta love a good prequel
Not a big, it's a feature 🧚♂️
They should give the Sparring Partner random useless items that can be frozen and slowed so it can be used by more that a hand full of builds.

10 gold for an encounter is pretty GOATED, its similar to 2 XP if you think about it. Or similar to how annoying trinkets are in BG.

18:28 that didn't age well

I high-rolled a Heavy Snail once and I ended up with one of the most busted boards I've ever made.
the cool leds are just insane

heavy enchanted snail infinitely triggers itself, very fun
Does crit chance on the snail give it a chance to apply double the poison value?
yes friend
Slow and steady won the race, back when this was filmed. Not so much now apparently.
3:39 same
26:38 huge reality check against Lizard.
I've seen the snail a few times, once it poisoned me for a gorillion and I was mad anyway
No Pylon in a Snail-build? Sacrilege!
When they nerf Lizard Snail will take over.
they don't call him Crit-parrian for no reason
Imagine if the snail had under 3 sec CD
under what rock did you find this game.
had a monitor lizard the other day put 360 poison on me day 3... needs a nerf
I managed to get the slow enchant on my snail, easiest 10 wins of my life.
Snail god
Why are you releasing all those pre hotfix videos now, two weeks later?
he's on vacation, old videos being posted.
they are on vacation at the moment and he was playing path of exile all day before he left.
he had those videos queued up, so we can at least have some content while they are gone
PoE2. Get with the program
Vacation + poe2 + he addresses this 30 seconds into the vid
he's back since yesterday. newer videos to come soon
PSA: it's another outdated game from a previous patch/version (18 days, no less), keep it in mind before watching 👌👌

@@iMakeTheSpackle lol, did you really "well, ackchyually" me? 🤣

Vs
Normal lizard u lose bcs too much slow build . But if u have enemies like this sure u win )

Have you tried making you own build?
This run is like a week and a half old. Calm down.
another old outdated video that dosn't really work in ladder right now... great!
oh nooooo
Guess we’ll have to get creative and make our own builds until they get back.
Aside from getting crit items from level ups, this build is still in top 3 that exist in the game.
the game won't be updated until January
It’s literally gamma + lizard with extra steps, which is really viable rn
