  • Hello and welcome to my latest tutorial.
To make this pendant you will need -
    • 0.8mm wire (20g), 4 x 10" (26cm)
    • 0.315mm weaving wire (28g) 100cm (I wind mine onto a bobbin, but you can cut lengths as you go if you prefer)
    • Teardrop cabochon, mine is 25mm by 15mm (you an use a different size, just remember to adjust wire length and weave repeats accordingly)
    • 3mm bead
I no longer put links to tools on here.
    The tools I use are:
    • Tronex needle nose pliers
    • Tronex short round nose pliers
    • Tronex razor flush cutters
    • Beadsmith flat nose nylon jaw pliers
    • Occasionally I use tronex bent nose pliers
    • Occasionally I use heavy duty wire cutters
    • Occasionally I use xuron needle nose pliers
    • Bobeeze bobbins (medium size with no extra weights)
How I oxidize my bare copper - • Oxidising copper jewel...

I’m sure I’m super late because this video is a year old and I’ve been watching your videos for a long time but if you put a wide piece of double sided tape down on your work surface just for molding your base wires around your stone having the stone in that tape makes it super easy to achieve because your stone doesn’t fiddle around! Love your talent and your amazing tutorials Kelly thanks!

Ooo thank you, that's a great idea! I've never used tape or clamps or anything really 😅 time to start making life a bit easier for myself and less fiddly. Thank you 😊💕

I don’t know how you keep your wires so straight everytime I try to follow along mine get so bendy…but I’m hoping that will come with practice, I love watching your tutorials I’m just starting to learn wire wrapping stones but I love it, thank you for putting so much time in to help it make sense to new crafters like me 😊

Oh thank you so much, it does come with time, also your wire may be a bit soft or thin 🤔 but it does get easier with time 🌹 keep at it, have fun ❤️

One thing that makes your design standout are the way you make decorative bails, it becomes part of the beautiful design. Just my observation ! 😉😘🥰😍

Thank you so much! No I buy from all over the place, I mostly search on Etsy, I think depends where you are in the world. Most of mine come from India 👍 have fun. Also some cool search words to get you started, cabochon, teardrop cabochon, large heart bead (for the drilled hearts) lampwork beads 😊 hope that helps 💕 sorry if I'm going on, trying to be helpful 😅😅😅

They've sold and I didn't write it down. I usually buy 10mm or 8mm stones. The wires would be a few inches shorter I would think.
