I can’t get enough of the organisation videos. The design board hack was genius. The Label Maker is your best friend when you are working and reorganising in your sewing room.

I LOVE your I LOVED the napkin holder idea. I have wire cubes I use for my fabrics. I think this idea would be GREAT to fasten with zip ties on the outside of the cube to hold a variety of things😃. Thanks for the awesome tips, so glad I stumbled on your channel😊

Your ideas and info regarding Harbor Freight are awesome! That quilting furniture they advertise on the other websites are priced outrageously! I could never afford one of their set-ups. But Harbor Freight is another story. Thanks a million for your help!

An idea for the button jars.. Instead of labeling the lids, clear off any stickers from the bottoms and store them upsidedown in the drawer.

I love dollar tree for sewing hacks. A friend of mine uses their different shape wooden cute outs for appliqué.
Also Harbor Freight has some wonderful items for the sewing room. Extra long tweezers, magnetic bowls or magnets to make you own bowls.

I know this is an older video. I just happened to come across it . I have been looking for a way to store my rulers. I can’t wait to get to the Dollar Tree to get some napkin holders. They will be a $1.25 now, but, still an inexpensive way to store my rulers. Thank you for the great hack! 18:27

I don't shop at dollar stores much, but I try to find useful items at my local salvage store and thrift stores. It's amazing what you can find. One of the most useful things I found was a wooden magazine rack that had a gate leg. Well that thing is so useful. Also dish racks make fantastic organization tools as well as utensil inserts. It's fun to conscript things into different uses. I love your ideas for how you found great uses for these items at the dollar store.

On your button storage in the plastic jars you could put the jars with the lids down in the pink storage drawers. That way you would be able to see the color of the buttons through the bottom of the jar.

  • @robinbarnett1706

my local fabric store here in anacortes, sold huge wooden buttons, but they were akll sold finally so I got the tall clear containers with wooden lids and a big button on top. iput all of my polka dot dtrips in them, so I cffould just roll them without folding and creasing them. it works well qand looks cute. I will NEVER geet my mess in order. I actuallty had a shop, but we spent a lot of money turning it into a studio apartment, and my daughter uses it. sonow my hobbies are crammed into a single room with no heat, but I will not give up. when everyone moved back, my quilting table was taken apart and shoved in any closet that it could fit in, so I have no idea about that either. but i love my hobbies so I will keep on buying storage things.
    and keep on creating.

How about turning your clear button jars upside down in the drawer? You'll then be able to see inside the jars and it doesn't matter of the buttons get moved around when you turn it over.
    Thanks for your great ideas!

I bought a plastic long box at a discount store for my big rulers. Then made a document on my computer to tape on the wall in my closet of Ufo’s and quilts needed quilted. When I first did this box I found duplicates so my quilting friend in Amarillo got them. I like your idea on the jars for the binding clips. I am using a long plastic box from JoAnn. Your jar would take up less room.
