In 1982 I wanted a new Camaro I was young & my first new car purchase. Co-worker told me get a Z28 not a lesser model. When he showed me a pic of the new body style Z-28 I bought one new within a week I was blown away by the styling. That brand new black Z28 4 speed got stolen 4 years later so I bought another Camaro in 1987 a Blue used 1983 Z28 automatic. Had it till 2021 and sold it. Now I see these 1982-94s all over the place in terrible neglected states its really sad but I did have my blast with two of them at least. Very Enjoyable video to see this Camaro cleaned up quite remarkable.. .
@@OutBoardTink62 yessir that's the plan, rebuilt the 305 last year, this yeas gonna be brakes and suspension. Can't wait to get it painted. I want to go with Pontiac fusion orange

Man, you guys do such an incredible job. Seeing the transformations is almost cathartic. I also like when you guys banter back and forth, so no need to cut it out. Now that you've got the car looking that good, you *have* to get it back on the streets. It's a moral imperative, at this point! Great job, guys!
As an old Camaro guy, those 3rd Gens are beautiful. I build 2nd Gens. The RS is a trim package, and the Z28 is a performance package. That reminds me of the IROC Z28's that were produced in those years.
9:40 you can remove vines from the tires by putting on a new set of tires. If vines were growing on/in them, that's a sign the tires are too old. Even if there was plenty of tread, they are unsafe for normal driving. Use them for burnouts, donuts, then replace.

This one definitely belongs on the road again. And I also agree that Derek from Vice Grip Garage would be a great guy to talk to about getting this car revived.

I had a bad bike accident in 1995, almost died and lost my right foot. Guys. Put that CD on in your car and just let the entire thing play!! It’s their debut album and the best they did. Chris Cornell is maybe the best voice in rock history for his genre!!
