Wow, these redesigns are amazing! I was afriad to watch it because a lot of people go on hating everything about the show and doing redesigns out of a place of anger, which i don't really want to get sucked into, especially since I liked several aspects of the show. I like that you kept Charlie's suit, it feels like a lot of redesigns always get rid of it, and that bugs me slightly because she's the only girl in the series who dresses masc in any capacity and people couldn't think of how to make kt interesting so they'd just make it fem again... I gave her short hair out of spite in my redesign lol. Her hooves and ball-joint fingers looked so cute! The pastel colors was a cool touch, and also makes her contrast with Alastor's colors. You also pointed out really good and important criticism of the show's handling of Alastor's "voodoo" motifs and creole background that i also have. I don't think making him evil and practice vodou is inherently awful, but instead of making it a real depiction of the religion, it falls back on the racist depictions christians spread instead of resembling what Vodou really is. And he doesn't looked mixed at all, i had no idea either until someone told me. I like that you actually gave him textured hair, and I'm always here for making him more deerlike! Angel looks great too, I do genuinely like where they were going with him too but making him more spider-like is always an improvement ❤

I’m not sure if I’m fully sold on them, but they’re pretty good designs over all. While it’s the first thing redesigners do, I like the colours you used so they don’t blend. I also think some of the details are clever like making Alastor’s antlers look like antenna.
I love your takes on the characters! Your style, your color options, all are awesome!! And i personally don't like Viv as a creator/ person either, but I enjoy the shows. Even with all the little plot holes or nitpicks! Keep the awesome work going!! (Also, I adore your take on Angel! Probably my favorite!!!❤)

The way people react to these redesign vids show a lot about how much "black and white thinking" there is on the topic of vivziepop. It's either toxic fans attacking the RUclipsrs in defense of viv (???), or people taking the fact that some creators made designs they like better than the originals as a reason to say that viv is horrible and her shows are sh!t (???). Can't we just acknowledge that every design, story, or media of any kind can always be improved upon and just have fun? Disclaimer, i guess: this little paragraph isn't directed at anyone in this comment section, the OP of the vid, or anyone else in particular. I just have thoughts and don't know where else to share them 😭👍 Edit: apparently viv did some bad stuff? I'm not too into the drama, i just noticed that people seem to dislike her as a person and not just as a writer/character designer. Anyway since i don't really know what she did or said I'll just say I'm not condoning any of her actions or words, just to be safe i guess? Idk man, i just wanna watch silly little demons running around T_T
Woah! your so underrated, your designs are so cool and fun to look at, purely eye candy. And i must say Alastor looks really cool we both definitely had similar ideas in mind! but for his time period you did kind of get that wrong- he died in 1933, but truthfully men's fashion didn't really change a whole lot then. But his design is still super unique would definitely want to see more of this then a his confusing design in the actual show, and i mean that for all of them.
