The physicians are ordering GLP1RA for diabetes with multiple CV risk factors. The insurance mandates metformin, will not approve DM meds until A1c7% and will not preapprove GLP1 RA for diabetes. Patients can't afford to pay out of pocket. I hope this changes and patients have access to these important meds.
