Hi, quick Q, ICS should be control therapy in COPD. I didn’t understand why there is criteria to add ics that is shown in colorful chart. Please help me to understand

Do we ever use Saba?

There are role of SABA in the management of COPD. During initial pharmacotherapy, rescue SABA should be prescribed to all patients for immediate relief of symptoms. Further, in group A patients, guideline recommends "A bronchodilator" as an initial therapy, and this may include any bronchodilator including SABA.
