Just seeing this valid information site. My question is if a property ( had parent house on it ) & had no first established title yet taxes were being paid in the patent name via least agreement for over 60 years and that person died and other family members of the occupantee wants to get a registered title in his or her name via even paying the property tax, what / how does him or her proceed ? Noting the general land owner die and whole area was developed and sub divided by the relevant authorities.

Very informative. My question is: If I paid $35,000.00 for repegging and only one peg was missing and was replaced should I be paying additional fees to get a report?
At this point all land should be able to identify property owner on a database because the land agency have a property number/title so they can use that to create a list of names base on tax ID.
what about land title fraud, we know that jamaica has issues with fraud at the land titles division how to does a buyer protect themselves against this danger

Based on my understanding of the question, the applicant is not required to establish that he attempted to locate the owner he intends to dispossess, he is only required to establish the identity of the owner. - TaylorLaw
