So tempted to play this loud going through the local town with the idea people will either laugh knowing where it’s from of leave them thinking, where the hell have I heard that before?
I tell you what, I'll take 'em off on one leg 😂😂 i absolutely love this film it's evoked some wonderful memories for me from the late 80's as i used to live around the corner from the Beacon Pub lot's of love Carol xx 😜
There was another song which always intrigued me, - When Michelle is ironing and finds the packet of Jonny’s in Bob’s trousers. “Dancin, Dancin, (we’re dancin’ in the street) Dancin’ Dancin’ (in places friends can meet) Dancin’ Dancin’ (Get your dancin’ shoes and come along) I’ve had this in my head for 20+ years!
No I wouldn't think that it was something Bob would play either. I thought it was a crazy, annoying, and crap song when I first heard it on the film. So I've no idea why I searched for it on youtube, and played it 4 TIMES lol :)
I grew up 3 doors down from siobhan (sic) Finneran she will kill me if she sees this!! Her brother Connor is a good lad her dad shay does the manchester airport taxis and is a mad blue!!! On her wedding day with the finger geezer from heartbeat sae loads of celebs on my street fucking weird!! I'm sure Bob (George Costigan) and Leslie Sharp
I worked in Thorpe edge in 90's. I worked on all the Bradford estates. Buttershaw was the nicest one (where it was filmed). The worst estate I remember was Bradford Moor, where ever that was. I remember kids chucking fire works at me there!
Great find for me today lol.. Brilliant film. Never forgot this tune either..
