I'm not ashamed to admit, murder Santa wasn't on my bingo card for the new addition. I'm fully expecting a new Helm model aswell but i do like the old one a lot and i think i prefer the sword to the hammer shown on the art
Haha I definitely wish I'd called the video "murder santa is coming to town" now..! I'm open minded for the hammer version, they seem to be doing a great job on the whole!
@@twotreesgaming I think I just like the hammerhand being a bit less obvious but I agree so far the sculpts that have been shown off are amazing. The rohan troops in particular
The army list is exactly what I'm wondering about too, he'd be weird to put next to rank-and-file troops but I guess the film might play out different to how we think
With all the talk of another new Rulebook & Rise of Angmar coming.... Are there any books you suggest staying away from??? I've only played a game or 2 so far, but have recently bought a revised Rulebook (& now expecting to buy a re-revised Rulebook). I also have the Battle Companies, Hobbit Armies & Lord of the Rings Armies. But I'm always keeping an eye out for a deal on Defense of the North, etc. But now I'm concerned about buying ANYTHING. I expect to now be $150 USD into the Rules. And as I understand it, Pretty much ALL of the rest of my books will be trash? Thoughts???
I wouldn't buy anything now- they've said they'll release a free Rise of Angmar PDF so their rules can be used for the new edition but I'd expect all the other books to become obsolete unfortunately... Stat lines and army building are changing so I can't see how they can stay relevant... 😩🤦♂️

Yeah I’ll definitely be using the original. He was easily one of my favorite models when he came out

Haha no! I was 11 when Fellowship came out though so that was my first experience with Lotr- no pre conceived ideas on characters
