That’s a really sweet bike!!! You’ve done some great things to it!!! That was a great idea on Indian’s part putting the trickle charger port there!!! Great job RJ!!!👍🏻👍🏻
That is a lot of bike there my friend. I love it!! Never got to a point where I could get anything that nice. But still enjoy what I have a lot!! Great video! 👊🏼
You customized it a bit and it looks very nice. Even stock it was. I like the inner part of your sidecases. It looks really nice and it is well padded as seen from the video. This is a keeper. Take care RJ.
Glad you have a solution for the 360 battery life. That Moose is a smart cookie! I think we are going to sell our 360 🤷♀️... I just haven't got into using it...
Sounds like you’ve done a great few trips with the beast mate 🤘 The little mods you’ve done are really classy, definitely deserved for such a gorgeous looking bike 😎 The ultimate seat looks so comfortable, very different style of riding to what I’m used to 😂 Great video mate, glad you’re so pleased with the bike, here’s to many more happy miles ahead 🤘
That colour still floors me, so beautiful. And that classic engine style, so good. Sometimes the time for riding just isn't there - always great to have a joyous garage ready for when the time returns. I like the battery tender wire from the roof - might have to hook that up in my garage I reckon, nice idea. I feel you with the 360 battery life heheh! I bought a 360 camera remote control to handle that issue - will see how it goes. Great to hear the good report, always nice to have no real problems with a bike. Happy days!
Hey RJ, Nice review on your Chieftain. Sounds like its been a pretty solid bike. You've done quite a few trips up and down the East Coast. Hows your take on it in some of the twisties, and secondary roads, (well balanced for its weight?) That 116 seems like a fairly solid motor for putting down mileage. Looking forward to seeing what Indian reveals for their 24 models. :)
Thanks. It’s came a long way since we bought this place a year ago and is still a work in progress. It’s been so long since I had a garage I am loving it.
So far so good with it. I got it on Amazon - Motorcycle USB Charger, Mroinge 6.8A SAE to USB Adapter Dual Port QC3.0/2.0 Fast Charge, with Voltmeter/Ammeter & ON/Off Switch & 10A Fuse, Perfect for Your Phone or Smart Device Charging a.co/d/5QQljDH
I keep trying to decide between the Chieftain or the Challenger, (or the tour laden varieties.) I rode the Chieftain at a local Demo Day and REALLY liked it with the exception of the heat from the motor and, more importantly, getting my helmet thumped at freeway speed in spite of windshield position. Did you get that and did the windshield swap help with that?
This video was so long I cut a bunch of it out but explained my Challenger/Chieftain struggle. I demo’d both and the Chieftain just suited me better. Challenger is a beast! I just don’t need that much speed anymore. I swapped the windshield out on day one so I don’t know about the stock one. No issues with “flare” windshield. I would like to ride a Pursuit. Let me know what you decide!
It’s the “flare” from Indian. It’s actually the same as the Klockwerks “Flare”. If Inhad it to do over again, I’d buy the Klockwerks one because it’s cheaper and the same. Otherwise very happy with it.
Awe come on RJ ... now you got me thinking about trading my Spyder in for an Indian 🤔... hmmmm, 🤭 should I ... 😳🤭... I cannot lie, no I'm not, but I at least I tried to think about it 😄🤣🤣
Sounds like you love the bike and it's great that you have some awesome plans for next year with Captain Dave! 💜🤗

Rattling bugs me big time... Glad you got that fixed!

It sure sounds like you purchased the right bike. Im looking forward to your adventures with Capt. Dave. I hope to make it down your way soon.
Look forward to seeing you again my friend.
I've got some rock dings too... Just shows your ride is well loved!
Drives me crazy though 🤪

It handles so much better than the HD baggers I’ve owned or ridden. I’m well satisfied with it.
Dude, your garage is awesome!

I test rode a sport Chief a few months back. It was an amazing bike.
I will have to test ride the Cheiftain soon. Hoping it is just as good.
They really have a good center of gravity about them. I have no regrets Matt. Thanks for stopping by!
Love the USB charger. Might grab one myself.

I'd love a second bike but not yet. When I have a few acres I'll get a little 250 farm bike.
That would be a lot of fun!
Great bike brother
Thanks! I’ve really enjoyed it so far.
@@602North I hope we will make good relations
Jeeps or bikes? Still having fun!
I’m a new chieftain owner myself. Which windshield is that. I get buffeting on the factory one. Looking to upgrade!

That is just a beautiful bike, but I'm sure it's like $40,000??
No not quite that much brother. Around $30. But the prices have gone up.
