I’ve just found your channel and I’m really getting back into fishing this year! I’m up in the North East so I’m hoping I can learn a thing or two from you!!
Another great video. My man!!! I'm surprised as to how tough that P-Line is, I'll tell you that. If it hadn't been for that P-Line, we wouldn't have seen a monster of a Rainbow Trout, that's for sure.
@@1E11evenMoto Check out some of my videos if you're interested, brother! I have some educational content, especially for trout, like how to fish with various spinners, how to fish with flies on a spinning reel (and when this is a good option), and where to look for trout! You're gonna get that trout!! 🙂
These and the NRV outdoors creek bugs are my go-to lures for trout and panfish of all types in PA. There's just something about them that's so non-threatening to the fish, they go right for 'em.
You know, we only have trout in my neck of the woods when they stock them at a local city lake. Fun fish to catch, but I'd love to go find some in the wild. I'd imagine it's a night & day difference.
Wild trout are generally prettier (much more vibrant colors than stockers), and are a bit more difficult to catch (wild are spooked by humans more easily, and generally only bite things that are similar to what they would normally eat). 🙂
@@KevinRapkochFishing good to know - thanks man, this is still on my to-do list but I think I'll have to travel for trout... The White River is on the horizon!
@@TheMinimalistFisherman That's awesome, I hope you get to the White River soon! If interested, I have a lot of trout (and bass) content on my channel, including various lure methods and explanations on when to use what! ✌️🎣
Man I live on the coast in Florida so tons of saltwater fishing. But recently I've been hitting the freshwater rivers and creeks inland. I've found I love the little water waaaay more than the big saltwater.
Hey I’m new to fishing and always wondered why is it that i see a lot of people go in to scoop them up with a net rather than just reeling him all the way in ?
Hey man, welcome to fishing! A lot of us use nets to help protect the fish. Nets (particularly rubber nets), help to keep the fish in the water or just out of it, and allow you to unhook the fish without having to squeeze it too much or without having to drag it out of the water. This is helpful for catch and healthy release. If a person is catching to eat, nets aren't necessarily needed as much for this type of fishing.
🔥 video gotta love trout fishing the scenery and those beautiful trout! I just uploaded some trout fishing videos they were a blast to make cannot seem to find anyone else that’s 16 and interested in fishing as much as me!
Hey man, you only would use a bobber or sinker for certain styles of fishing. When you are fishing with spinner baits, you don't use a bobber or sinker (unless you are using a split shot for added weight to cast further). I have a beginner's guide to fishing video over on my channel if you're interested. It covers bobber fishing with soft plastic baits. ✌️🎣
🎣 That area you're in does not seem like a place where trout would be at, This area seems more like a bass place than anything. Still another great video and great fish catching as well and those trout are worth every minute of it too. A job well done
I know you asked Fish Hawk, but since there's no answer yet, I use a 256gb SD card for my fishing content, which gets up to 11 hours of footage before you have to delete some.
@@FishHawk Nice, I wish I could say the same for Western NC. The creeks and rivers are almost always packed here with fishermen, kayakers, etc. I try to get to some remote mountain areas at times but even they are getting used more..
are trout season is winding down here in Virginia I don't think they'll be doing any more stocking until October but if you take the time you can still catch some fish in the streams I caught five this morning here in Roanoke Virginia in about an hour and a half, 1 Brookie and 4 bows
Homer Simpson: "Ummm, Log Jam" Your camera isn't doing a good job of picking up the blueish rings around the whiteish circles on the Brook's. I haven't been able to see any of them. PK though.

Not a lot of woodland streams hold brook trout, enjoy watching you catch this unique fish!
The first was a GREAT brookie.
Thanks for a great fishing adventure.
Some nice catches my friend. Reminds me of a few of the creeks I fish here in northern WV.
Great day of fishing 🎣! That rainbow trout was chunky 👌 nice job...
Awesome job buddy! It’s amazing how creeks can be filled with so much beautiful trout!

You should have gotten a replica of that last fish
Nice
and a question how do you make your decision to go ultralight with 4lb line or light with 6lb
Depends on the size of the stream, size of lures I want to use, and size of the fish I expect to catch.
