その表現方法がレゴだったという話。
ただ作るだけに意味はないよ。親に話されてバカにされたってことは、親からみても「冗談」以上には受け取られなかった半端な意思って事でしょ。
今なら、動画作製作・フリマアプリで売ったりする人達だっているんだから、やってみたらいいのさ。

I love how he uses Bionicles for his special peices because of the fact that yea it's rare yea it's not made anymore but also it's what saved Lego in the first place and it's make it be more of a special peices knowing that it not only isn't being made anymore but also it was beyond why we still have Lego today!! Plus I have always loved Bionicles I fell in love with those first cus they came out just at the time when I was a child

a lot of the pieces that came out of the Bionicle series were rerolled into technic lines

よくわからないけども、特注や限定から定番のパーツまで含めたら1,000種類ぐらいあるかもしれないね。

This guy is the Rick Owens of the Lego world. Absolutely love his pieces. The focus on textures while using all black pieces look super sick. What a fresh take on the art form.

Yeah seems like his work is pretty limited to one topic/subject. Stuff is pretty cool but I'd rather see some variety like Sci fi city scape builds or just abstract shape work.
@@HANUMAN7454 It's not unusual for an artist to have phases or just stick to a theme for most of their career, not so much 'limited', rather theme that attracted them.
@biocapsule7311 yeah I was not a huge fan of Picasso during his blue phase. Joseph Cornell on the other hand was allways 3x dope. Dondi was also ill. Futura ill w it 2.

This man talks about how it is important to be "true black" (rich canadian), rather than about lego technics or builds itself. And his builds, to be honest, is pretty primitive, but its hard to understand because of they monocolor and mass of details. And no word how he can afford so much lego (and big land property in canada to store all of this) in the first place.

There’s a lot of people suffering from inferiority complex who try to make everything abour race and how they are the victims while at the same time claiming that they were the most advanced civilization without any proff. you can’t reason with these people because they don’t use rationality, but emotions.
I went into this video thinking "guys building epic scaapes using only black peices" left the video feeling like "oh its a video about only white people are racist"

00:32 exactly. Lego NOT LEGOs. Lego is an adjective, a word to describe a noun, therefore it cannot (or rather should not) be pluralised. Saying “I collect Legos” is like saying I collect pinks, or reds. Lego is describing a noun not a noun itself. You collect LEGO bricks, not LEGOs.
Ok professor Lego. Most ppl playing with "Legos" are kids just wanting to play and not have the grammar cops give them shit about a word. I guess we can't all be pretentious douchebags walking around our 12 studios with our shirt flowing from all our hot air because we are to cool for buttons. Yellow isn't white they chose yellow to be for all races it just became a white thing but that wasn't what it was ment to be when they first started aka there are many black yellow minifigures aka boba fett and lando calrissian in the cloud city set isn't white and those two figures cost more than any other minifigure of that entire set

No black person looks at homers family or any normal legos and identifies with it. They dont look like us they don't share our culture they don't relate to our problems.

This guy isn't racist. There are plenty examples of artists of ALL race who only deal with the subject matter of their culture or their race and people.
Personally IK so many artists for warhammer or MTG or other TCGs who are caucasian and only paint white fantasy characters. (Or characters that aren't human such as ogers)
Do I call them racist? No. Is their art diverse? Also no. Is the genre of Epic Fantasy white washed? Yes.

I don't think he was mainly talking about the yellow color, but the hair of the figures. You wouldn't see any of them on black people. And, for it not to have some resemblence to European would have been strange anyways since it comes from Denmark. I think he was just trying to say that the newer sets representing different racial aspect in more detail is good to see.

Would have been an amazing video about art, without the black black black comments. Odd ego makes the art almost inauthentic. Nothing wrong with heritage, but your delivery of it sounded like a resume instead of an inspiration, maybe even marketing. I'm white and a Lego fan, and I love it. Try putting people colors away so all children can focus on your vision. Instead of saying black children can... Say all children can. Cuz there's no difference between children. Until you train them.
White people want everything to be about them. When black people are talking about themselves and trying to uplift themselves suddenly white people want to talk about " all people" "all races" " all women" " all men" "all children" " all cultures" but white people have nothing to say about "all people" when white people who are overly represented and have MORE THAN ENOUGH spaces to talk about and uplift white people. The fact is there are inequalities because of racism and that cannot be solved by being neutral on these issues. He doesn't hurt white people with his work, he does good to the Afro community. When you see a woman doing work that is intended for little girls, to give them motivation, it is not against little boys, it is a way of dealing with a real problem of differences in education, imagination, of reinforcing pride. If black people, women etc. were dominant, your speech would make sense, but that is not the case.
