This strat should actually be better for melee uptime than the standard PF strat! In the images I placed all the players farther away from the boss than they need to be, including the two near the boss. There should be enough space for the blm to be comfortably safe with the drg at max melee range.
Here's a clip of someone doing a strat with the same initial positioning: ruclips.net/video/hK3z_YouoZ0/видео.html At 0:15 you can see that the DRG does not clip the SMN, with minimal movement, if any (and the SMN can actually be a tad closer to the center of the boss than where they are). That said, there is a modification that would make even more space, which is to have the hexagon of the 6 outer players be aligned so that one player is due north and another player is due south (rotated 90 degrees from what I have in the video). This makes it so the two sides aren't mirror images of each other, and you can make the call if you think the extra complexity is worth the additional space.
The boss target circle is much bigger than shown in this video, everyone has full uptime with this strat and it's much safer in regards to clipping too
So in your strat, the melees for example DRG doesnt have uptime, or otherwise he kills the blm.
