I enjoy your videos. I work in North Alabama - residential only. It is interesting to see how people do things in different areas and the difference from one electrician to another. I do not like all the Code Natzees that criticize you. I follow Code, but there are things that I know my inspectors demand. I can argue Code with them, or I can do it how they require. I do it how they require. When repairing, an electrician must first do no harm, but we also live in a world where our customers do not always want to pay for the perfect solution.
I agree with you on that it’s the same in the U.K. it’s ok to have a set of codes as you call them it’s about being realistic specially I see a lot rubbish installs .
Appreciate the video. Working with 3 phase and bolt in breakers can be intimidating. There are safety concerns unbolting the 120-volt breaker from the hot bus bar? Do you recommend wearing cotton gloves inside the Class 0 or 2 Rubber gloves with leather gloves on the outside?
Thank you for the video.... I have a 20 amp bolt in breaker that controls the light inside the commercial restaurant cooler that keeps tripping..... the light and switch were corroded for 20 years of use. After replacing both them, both the Westinghouse bolt in breaker still tripped.... my next step is to replace the bolt in breaker.
Great video Sir I would of just put a clearer label where it said plug socket by sink so next time the customer doesn’t get confused . I always take what the customer says like a pinch of salt I always do my own instigation . It’s fascinates me in the states you use Double pole Breakers as a out goers . One day I will get my head around the rules and regulations in America 😂😂as always watching from the U.K.

Are you always able to change out a breaker on a hot bus bar?
Sometime depends on voltage.
Hi, can you make a video of how much to charge for each repair job? I would appreciate it very much.
