Thanks for putting the time and effort into this video! You’re doing a great service to the younger folks starting off in the trades by identifying the budget tools. There was a time, not long ago, that I didn’t have a pot to pee in or a window to throw it out of. Luckily when I started, most all power tools were provided by the company or my JW would “allow” me to borrow his when I needed them. I was responsible for my carry tools and I kept my nose pinned to the classifieds in the local newspaper for any mentions of garage or yard sales. All my early tools were second hand finds acquired by said sales, most of which were 20+ years old when I got them, and most of them I still have today. In fact, I cherish those tools more than the new tools I’ve purchased since then. The tools don’t make the tradesman, hard work and dedication does….but it sure is nice to have tools the other guys have, and not the ones their grandads had! Keep looking up man! Take care!

one rules of thumb I always follow is to never cheap out of things you measure with whether it's your testing meter or NCVT to your tape measure and level. same thing with your PPE. Klein and milwaukee have so great quality tools but for a broke collage drop out like I was getting something cheap that does the same function and within your budget is a good way to go and hand me downs too I still use a pair of stanley lineman that my dad had since i was in middle school it's rusty asf but still cuts and hammer well lol.

Klein tools are really good and Milwaukee makes some really good precision screwdrivers that are usually in the electrical section of Home Depot. I would shop Black Friday to get free tools or batteries with a purchase and post Christmas for markdowns. Always look for those yellow discount tags throughout the year. ✌🏻

I just got the 4th gen milwaukee fuel hammer drill 5ah battery and m12 m18 charger for $270 all in and also a m12 fuel for $80..batteries boss gave for free. That's super budget friendly. I may consider some of these options!!

He’s too busy with the tools if you know and have a tool addiction and you know about tools, that’s it. There is nothing else I need more tools.
