Cool project, i wish you all the best for the future 🙂 Being a solo dev is really hard, especially if you do it in your spare time beside the 9 to 5 job. I started my gamedev journey last year and I'm still hoping to get more attention here on YT and other plattforms.
Dig the unique card and resource system you have going there. I'll be following along to see how this turns out. Just started my game dev journey(first commercial game) and like to see how others solo devs are progressing compared to myself, helps motivate me to do better.
you seem to have an inconsistent pixel size resulting in a less immersive experience. what i am trying to say is stuff doesn't look like they belong together
Yes the wizard for example he’s a great design but doesn’t match the feel/ vibe of the rest of the game like the background he’s very defined while mostly everything else is a cute blocky material / texture hence the pixel size he should be a cute blocky texture as well
The dev who is creating PokeyPoke just released a video on releasing a demo too early. He mentioned that Steam Nextfest can only be ran once per game and cautions you to make sure your game is close to ready for publishing before putting it in Steam Nextfest. ruclips.net/video/OV0s442AbMQ/видео.htmlsi=qJrTu0b1O2ET0Or6
Little bit of a weird question I have and it's probably tough to answer. As a game developer yourself Why is it that so many developers abandon their games. But never take the time to make a little post that says they are abandoning the project. Because I think many of us can point out games that has been abandoned by its developers. But the developers never took the time to announce that they are abandoning the project. Which often just results in the community being completely left in the dark. So my question is basically, do you know why so many developers refused to admit when they are abandoning a game? I know it is a Weird little question, but it's something I've always wondered.
I really like the action battle phase, looks wonderful! But I'm wondering about the pre-combat phase. Why do we need to have the wizard walk around? Wouldn't that become tedious after a while since you're basically walking between points of interest? 🤔 Love the progress! Keep it up!
Just found ur channel and I’m absolutely loving it! Keep it up
Thanks so much!
I love all your videos Michael! This was a refreshing watch!

Yep exactly! You can only do one per game, so you gotta make it the best demo you can!
