- We did a transatlantic cruise on Wonder of the Seas from Barcelona to Port Canaveral and in this video we are reviewing some of the restaurants and the food we ate, in addition we also explain why we didn't go to some more popular restaurants. And finally, we ask the question that so many others have - What on earth has happened to the Windjammer?

Glad to report our recent experience on Explorer of the seas resulted in none of the issues you guys and others highlighted recently about Windjammers and the MDR (Ben & David on their channel also regarding Symphony)
We recently sailed on Ovation and the food there was much better on Wonder (we've got a video on that coming out soon) - I think that it may possibly have been teething problems on Wonder as I've never really had any issues with the buffet, until then. We're sailing on Odyssey in 3 weeks and some people have mentioned food isn't up to par - but we're going in with an open mind! (and empty stomachs!)
I have to agree with you about 150 Park Ave., the bread is delicious. My husband had one piece and unfortunately I ate the rest..😋 My husband also enjoyed the beef sandwich with radish mayonnaise from Park Place. I believe it be a Royal Carribean problem, and not the rest of the customers on boards problem or taking the solarium and giving it to the pinnacle customers only. 😢 Thank you.

Hey!!! It was a shame, Glen did enjoy what he had but I think our expectations were so high going in - I will absolutely try hooked again though when we get the chance!

Nice to see you both in front of the camera, loving the banter and difference of opinion! We loved Izumi on Anthem, and enjoyed Wonderland too quite a unique experience. Interesting to hear all about the venues on Wonder. Interesting about Windjammer as always felt it was the best buffet at sea, sad to hear! LOL lamb biriani and beef stew interesting. We definitely want to try an Oasis class sometime soon!

It's such a shame about the Windjammer, I'm hoping it's just teething problems as cruising finds its feet again after the pandemic. Yeah, we really loved the experience in Wonderland. I think Izumi is much better located on Quantum class ships as it's not hidden away.
I just got off WOS on the 22nd and lots of people eating Hot Dogs. Solarium Bistro was closed for private party all week. Windjammer was just OK, Mason Jar wins hands down!
Since cruising has returned from the pandemic, There has been a noticeable decline in food quality in the Windjammer buffet. Hopefully this trend will not continue.
It's such a shame, but hopefully Royal will take the feedback on board and we can get back to the quality that the windjammer is known for!
