    Thank you so much Camille...I love the organic look of all your pieces...I like it that you don't have to strive to have each wire perfect which is great for beginners like me! Keep sharing your work and peace to you!

    Thank you so much for showing this way without the wire jig! This is the simplest way I've seen yet. And the prettier shape of hearts I've seen done.

      I've never been a fan of the jig. Seems like a lot of faff for a result you can probably achieve with pliers and some practice.

    When I first got on RUclips, I found this and was thrilled. I was new to working with wire but those tiny hearts were so easy and just lovely. I wish I knew how to show you the bracelet I made for my niece. It was the 1st piece I had ever made where I made everything ... Hearts, jump rings, & hook clasp. I've never seen this anywhere else and she has gotten many compliments on it. Thank you so much for sharing.

    I am hooked now...I have to buy supplies and try some of your designs...especially the Tree of Life one! Could you or have you designed any cross designs? I found a video while looking for such a pattern, but they are selling, not showing how to make them. Theirs were beaded. I'll try to post the video, but it won't let me do that here. THANKS so much for sharing your wonderful art and for showing us how to do it ourselves! ;)

    I absolutely love watching your videos and I wanted to ask you a few questions. What kind of wire did you use to make the wire heart? I know you said you used square 14 gauge but I wanted to know if it's full-hard, half-hard or dead soft? and on the tree of life tree for the branches and trees you used 24 gauge dead soft wire, does the dead soft wire stays put or does it unravel over time? can I use half-hard wire instead??

  • @CamilleSharon

    @MoNzzTeR999 The wire I used for the hearts was dead-soft copper. The branches on the trees doesn't have to be dead-soft, it is just easier (for me) to wrap around the roots than harder wire. I have used 1/2 hard wire when it's all I've had around without a problem. Haven't had any trees I've made unravel yet.

    Hello! Great tutorial. I've made the earrings with copper wire, but when I try to make them with silver-filled, I can't seem to get the curves even (same on both ends). I'm thinking it might be the metal. Any ideas or suggestions?

    • @CamilleSharon
      @CamilleSharon  4 года назад

      I’ve never used silver-filled wire. In my experience, copper is softer than silver, even when named the same as dead soft or half hard. If the wire isn’t bending at a sharp angle, maybe try wrapping around something, like a pencil or mandrel, if you have one, so you aren’t just using round-nose pliers and trying to apply even pressure. Not sure if that helps!

    Where do u get the wide flat wire that you're using? I go to Michael's and I don't remember seeing any. Like that

    • @CamilleSharon

      Check out Rio Grande Jewelry Supply online. The wire I use in the video is from them. Square copper wire, 1/2 hard. They sell 16 gauge as their thickest one.

    Can you use floral wire for this

    • @CamilleSharon
      @CamilleSharon  7 лет назад

      Tashalynn Wells I wouldn’t use the green, thin kind, as it won’t hold a good shape. Using the kind which is covered in fibers should work since it is thicker, sturdier wire.

  • @CamilleSharon

    @OneHappyBird123 I used 14 GA for the large hearts and used 20 GA for the smaller hearts.
