This... my god, there are no words. utterly insane. I went from simpatizing with the guy, to the girl, to hating the mom, to fearing the boyfriend, to cheering the girlfriend, to loving the parents in the span of like 10 seconds.
My name is Ozymandias I did too big time. I was waiting for them to bring out the knives. Lol what a awesome twist at the end. Heck it was better than to soap operas I’ve watched over the years. And I didn’t have to wait years to find out the huge twisted plot love it.
This is a perfect demonstration of how little you need to make a great short film. The location is just a stage space that's been minimally dressed, props are just a game board and drinks. Everything that makes this work is in the script and how its acted, which is perfect if you don't have a budget, but it demands that you know how to cast well and that you have good writing discipline
Like a play! But what a great idea to try and reduce your story (book, movie script, whatever...) to the constraints of the stage. Oh, to be able to go to see a good play again...

That would be the sequel when GF keeps playing on. I can see it go 2 ways: Increase the creepy factor or the questions become more interrogative and more personal, eventually leading to the cheating incident.

One hopes he was right about her, as she seemed to be quite an engaging and affectionate young woman. In fact, her behavior towards him didn't seem to evince, to me, at least, that she wasn't genuinely taken with him. On the other hand, the alleged subterfuge, while extreme, once explained, had a charming and creative quality to it, that, as openly and friendly as presented, seemed to be an actual means of welcoming, allowing the parents to be acquainted with a serious girlfriend, although, again, by a means, one not likely to be encountered very often. Yet, it's almost as if, perhaps, due to her intelligence, she recognized that this manifest bonhomie, was an elaborate way of playing her for a fool, as the infidelity charge, was indeed, the case. For her to act with unvarnished anger, at being accepted in a family, is reasonably hard to reflexively understand. Such a conclusion, leads one to wonder, if, as an innate aspect of his personality, everyone he becomes involved with, responds by straying, at some point, and this parlor trick, has been repeated many, many times. Naturally, these perceptions, could be totally off the mark, as I may find out from responses that it prompts.🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️

Well, this was just fanfuckingtastic. One of the best best short films I have ever seen. Amd I've seen a lot. The plot, the delivery, the script, the atmosphere, the twists, the ending ( was mind blowingly unexpected), all of the components to this short film were truly great. Great actors, just brilliant. If they spoke english we would feel less negative. Something about a foreign language and subs. I dont dislike them. But some of the subtleties are lost. The whole "karma and teamwork: vibe just wasnt there. It didnt translate

I've been watching lots of Omeleto films, bookmarked a few for possible viewing again someday -- but this is the first one that as soon as it finished, I immediately had to watch it a second time.
The best think of this script is that the conditions of the story can make little mistakes look like the acting's even more natural. For example at 9:23 the guy's trying so hard not to laugh and we don't know if it was intentional or the actor was actually trying not to laugh, it's brilliant.
Didn't see that double twisted ending coming...pure gold!!. The first twist i thought that was a great ending but then the second i don't anybody truthfully will say they saw coming but i am sure there will a whole bunch of people writing "I saw both those twists, pretty obvious".
Pepjin's acting around his girlfriend when she arrives is out of this world. Top notch! He gets into the mood acting really really nervous as though he knew Liz is going to meet her doom tonight! I mean WOW and WHOA!

Pepjin's acting around his girlfriend when she arrives is out of this world. Top notch! He gets into the mood acting really really nervous as though he knew Liz is going to meet her doom tonight! I mean WOW and WHOA!
