When my family was going through hard times as a kid I remember going to are local VFW to get a present. Thank you and all involved for doing this. This is something they will never forget. 🙂
It is important for kids to have access to these building toys. Lego sets can provide increased fine motor skills and a better understanding of 3-dimensional space. With the completed set, they provide a backdrop for storytelling and self-expression. Kids can then tear it apart and build something new, igniting their creativity and imagination. Just one Lego set can make a world of difference to a child's development. Thank you for giving that gift to so many of them. ❤
Total agreement. Hopefully these sets make a difference in their lives. Just talking to some of them… my heart broke… but to see them holding onto a set of their choosing… and just stare at it… for a bit as their holding it. I don’t know what’s going on in their minds… but I hope it helps.
this is phenomenal i remember always going to those toy drives as a kid a being disappointed that there were always no legos. Thank you for giving back
