Hi thank you so much for this great video. I’m still having a problem with mine. I turned off everything last year during the warmer months, now I’m trying to start everything again and nothing is lighting. My gas is on, and my instructions say leave the on/off switch to the OFF position, but I don’t know..? When I push in my igniter, while holding in the pilot, I just hear one click and nothing happens. Do you have any ideas?

    • @TaddyDigest

      Hey Michael Thanks for watching.
While holding the pilot in do you hear gas coming out of the pilot tube assembly orifice?
If NO then you may need to hold down for a minute or 2
Keep clicking till you see a flame
Let me know if this works.
I can make you a video if you need me to. That might help.

According to youtube description this is Pleasant Hearth insert. Depending on the model reviews many have found it difficult to troubleshoot. One model which Lowe's has discontinued selling has significant issues with maintaining a continuous pilot light with no help from customer 1-800. Manuals do not proved what part numbers are and where they are available for model. Model number is not shown in a visible location on insert and 1-800 customer service rep have no clue as to where location of model number might be. I was really disturb by the fact that a company which produces and sells a heating unit which could cause a fire or explosion in a home or a serious health hazard of carbon monoxide has provided such limited factual information about it's product. @@TaddyDigest

    • @TaddyDigest

You do not have to open the ventilator unless you need ventilation in the home.
