I've had times when the drill sergeants would ask privates if we knew where our permanent station was going to be. With other privates they would name off different forts in the states and the DS would be like "Oh yeah, I had to stay there a few years" and "Ft. such and such were my old stomping grounds."
Whenever they had asked me and I told them I was going to Germany, their faces would brighten up followed with them saying "Youre going to love it there." Afterwards they would ask if I was married. At the time I was single, so when I told them "no," they would follow with "Oh, you're REALLY gonna love it there!"

Germany was my first trip when I first got my passport back in 2000. My uncle (retired vet) took me and my brother for a month to vacation spot he got there. He's been married to his German wife since 82 they still going strong. The women there actually compete for a man especially if you black. The fun i had in Germany oh boy😂 y'all better get them passports. Even the ones who's not interested will decline respectfully and still be cool with you. Not all, but a hell of a lot of them do like blk men. Don't buy into those stereotypes you not going to see Nazis marching down the street terrorizing you. 😂

Lastly...try traveling locally. Don't know where you live but i live in the US. Im not able to travel internationally YET, but i try to visit different states like Colorado and Texas just to get the itch scratched and out of my shell. Remember that theres international cities like Miami, Dallas, LA, New York City, Kansas City , Seattle that are a mix of my Country and others. And thats actually working for now.
Brother, hit the gym 3 to 4 times a week, run about 2 to 4 miles, 2 or 3 times a week, read “The meditation” work hard and make as much money. Pick a new country to travel to every year. My father even told me he went to France once. This is not bad. As a black man, I actually have German ancestry on my pop's side. I notice alot of brothers that were in the Army always told me that the women in Germany love bruthas alot. It's crazy years back army vets were telling me women overseas treat you like a king. Germany has stamped it's roots in different places of America and intermingle with Americans here.
