New products are garbage specially those made during the lockdowns. Big company wins, customers get losses… is this really how you do business?

      @John Smith that's because toyota has a weird design philosophy: make quality cars that last and long time and dont break down. Crazy right? We had a 2019 chevy malibu with 7000 some odd miles with an electrical issue with the head light. By boss, who drives a toyota, said remind me not to buy a chevy

      @@evereststevens5408 my cousin bought a 2022 Chevy blazer 1 month later his whole dash elctronic system went out. He took it back to Dealer, he went by dealer a couple of days and his Blazer was parked in same spot. Same for next day, he went inside and was told by mgr. "I don't know how long your blazer will be here cause we can't get all the damaged electronic stuff it needs." My cousin told the mgr. either give me another new blazer or l'm going to see my attorney! Before my cousin walked out the building, mgr. called him back and told a mechanic "bring in the blazer!" Two days later my cousin had his blazer back. There was no explanation as to what was done to fix it so quick. The mgr. Could never be found to explain what was really wrong with the blazer. We do construction and I've hauled 4 tons of rock a few times along with a 16 foot trailer all day every damn day with a shit ton of materials on it and my truck has had zero problems. I've pushed it to the limits and again have had zero problems. I've been so proud of this 2.7 liter. So much so that I got a 2022 only because I've put 70k miles on it in a year and a half. They use plastic where metal should be, many electronics they purchase from China, so the circuits, boards and cabling breaks. Why? So you buy or lease another new truck in 2 to 3 years. Either find an older truck or buy Toyota! Sad to say, but the greed of upper management of these U.S. auto companies are poison! Remember, the tax payer bailed these companies out in 2009, this garbage is how they repay the U.S. taxpayer. Never again will I buy an American car...just horrible! Good luck Jose, best wishes!

      The whole industry is letting quality slide, it's because of emissions and the fact they know the ev cars are coming in soon. Last days of American muscle and almost all of these brands are hollowed out. I had this new 2.7 sierra last year. I didn't get stranded by it but I ran it up to 85k miles and knew it didn't have long leaft in it. It had engine shudder and threw a few codes . It will last you threw a 100k but don't count on it for long term. This is a truck you buy at a good price point, use it up for a few years then trade it in. I did that for a 22 new Tacoma. Thought I was safe with Toyota but I can tell you they arent as quality as when made in Japan now real Mexican tacos. I might have to trade it in at some point, not even sure which way to go anymore. The new ram is decent, as is f 150 but nothing to write home about. I may try another GM with the 6cyl for awhile. But not sure. Make sure you have warranty on all these trucks nowadays

Back outside wall cracked in half, fridge crapped out more than once, major roof leak, all exterior stickers (decorative) replaced at least 3 times because of pealing, kitchen sink mounts broke, bathroom mirror wouldn't stay closed, wheel well moldings cracked, frame rusted, poor window seals, poor fit and finish, plenty more if I thought about it. Yes, shame on me for buying but it was my first one and under a bit of pressure by wife as we were to go on vacation (kind of a last minute thing), blah, blah, blah. Their customer service sucks worse than a broken vacuum cleaner! Bottom line - never and I mean ever, buy a KZ trailer! Took a huge lose when we finally sold it! Makes more sense to buy a v8 anyways, it’s got the natural power to handle what you need. Or the 3.0 diesel.

    • @63DW89A
      @63DW89A 10 месяцев назад +1

      The engine wasn't the problem, the transmission was the problem. Meaning the V8 would have had the same problem.

    • @63DW89A
      @63DW89A 10 месяцев назад

      @@RealNathanExplosion Drove a Ford Ranger 2.3 turbo 4 cylinder to Reno, NV from Knoxville TN and then came back along US 50, hitting as high as 11,300+ ft elevation. That little 4 was climbing 6%+ grades at 60 to 80+ mph, only turning 1800-2100 RPM, rarely dropping out of 10th gear. The V8's with us were straining at 3500+ RPM on the same upgrades and could not keep up with that 2.3 L 4 cylinder. The turbo 4's are torque monsters and will easily outlast the V8's, because the 4's are running low rpm, not straining at all in normal driving or in climbing mountains or at high elevation. The stock 2.3L turbo makes 270 HP and 310 ft lbs torque on 86 octane. With the upgrade kit from Ford, that power jumps to 330Hp and 360+ ft lbs torque, with 350 ft lbs torque at only 1500 rpm, although 90+ octane fuel is required to make those power levels. And remember that an inline 4 is 1/2 of a V8. meaning that 2.3 L basically has the bottom end, strong crankshaft, and 5 main bearings of a 4.6 to 5.4 L V8. Ford has a great engine in that 2.3 L 4 cylinder turbo. Ford has made a major mistake in making the 2.7L turbo a V6 instead of a 2.7L 4 cylinder like GM. A 2.7 L V6 has the bottom end of a 1.35 L 3 cylinder with only 4 main bearings and mechanically is a much weaker engine than the 2.7 L 4 cylinder which has the bottom end of a 5.4 L V8 with 5 main bearings. Also a 2.7 L 4 cylinder's bigger pistons make for a faster torque rise than a 2.7 L V6, meaning the 2.7 L 4 cylinder will make the same or more power at a considerably lower RPM than a 2.7 L V6.

      @@Robert-bg2nm Drive one of the new hi-torque turbo 4's and you will see what I mean. The turbo 4 cylinders will easily outlast the V8's because the high bottom end torque keeps the 4 cylinders pulling strong at considerably lower RPM than the V8's especially pulling loads up steep grades. I've owned Ford & Chevy V8's and none of those V8's could outlast the Toyota 20R / 22R 4 cylinders I've owned.

    The domestic auto industry was bailed out by the taxpayers in multiple decades. Most recently it was GM in 2009 and this is how they paid the people back. They raised the prices to insane levels and dropped the quality to the bare minimum needed to do warranty repairs but still come out ahead. When the auto loan bubbled pops and they get into trouble, the car makers should just go bankrupt and the government needs to stay out of it entirely.

    Sounds like this guy wakes up ready to complain. I didn't notice any pictures or video of the actual leak. Both of my 2.7 2021 sierras work like a dream and tow work trailers easier (with better mpg) than my 5.3 2016 sierra did. The lack of a V8 sound takes some time, but the engine itself surprised me. 120,000 miles between the 2 trucks and life mpg 19.2. A solid 20,000+ miles pulling either a 6x12 cargo loaded or a 7x14 dump trailer. These are the first, I guess 2nd as well, vehicle that required nothing other than oil changes and tire rotation. They did an entertainment update on one of them. I stopped for oil change and the elevation had service bulletin for the update.

    I had a 1987 Ford Thunderbird Sport with 5.0 EFI V8 it had issues with the digital dash. I worked with the Ford District Manager and they got it fixed
    Unfortunately Dealership Service Departments carry even for Toyota. I had to work with Toyota Corporate Headquarters of America in California because my 2007 Toyota Camry Hybrid had tons of Recalls plus the Computer shut down the gas engine on the very high Chesapeake Bay Bridge near Annapolis Maryland at night in the rain and I was on the Bridge with numerous 18 Wheelers thankfully I didn't panic and got off the Bridge with the electric motor.

      American Trucks = GARBAGE not because of the workers but because FORD management does not put quality first, it's ALL about BIG profits, but VERY POOR QUALITY in and on high-markup trucks. I will NEVER buy another FORD, FORD = GARBAGE. CHEVY = GARBAGE.
