Thanks so much for the lovely comment, Ann! I'm so glad you like the video. I'm definitely NOT an expert, just beginning, but I'm happy you found it helpful.
Thank you for doing these two videos. I too bought some silver clay and have been nervous about trying it. I’ve gotten books, watched videos and classes, etc. Watching you do it has made me feel much more confident that I can do it too. I even have a book that combines polymer clay and silver clay in pieces.
Bonjour 👋 Merci pour votre temps et vos vidéos c'est vraiment très bien 🙏 avec beaucoup d'explications . Et vos bijoux sont très jolis j'aime beaucoup.. Merci 🙏😘 Sandrine 😘
Thank you for these entertaining and informative videos, I enjoyed watching them! Love how the big pendant turned out, those mushrooms look perfectly placed!
in your video you mention you see a lady wipe her hands on a baby wipe. Don't worry nothing lost, put it in your re-cycle bin to be sent off to the Refiner to be reclaimed. Also the 1gr. of Gold, they say will do 20-30 pieces, but of course that depends on the size of the piece and how many layers you paint on. Most people use it to just accent such as the mushrooms on the piece you made, it goes further than you think.
Since the finished pieces are fine silver they don’t oxidize nearly as quickly as sterling silver. If they need a little polishing I use a pro polish pad.
Sandy, I owe you an apology from the first video for not taking your clay from start to finish. Had I really paid attention to the title of #1 I would not have been so negative, so I apologize.
Everything is beautiful but my favorite is the pendant with the mushrooms. It’s special, thank you for all
This is the best tutorial on metal clay I have seen, you cover every step and do it well, thank you very much, every PC beginner should watch this.

Thanks for letting me know, Suzan. That is EXACTLY why I made this video! What book is it you have that combines polymer and metal clay?
@@SandyHuntress , the book I have is, Perfectly Paired: Designing Jewelry With Polymer and Metal Clays. I bought it on Amazon.

Thanks for the info, Becky!
Great video! Do you have a tutorial on how you made those beads. Love them!
Thank you, glad you like it. 🙂 Which beads do you mean? Can you give me the time stamp?
How about a stiff brush to clean off the emery board?
Sure, that works. 🙂 But I’d still keep separate ones for different metals.
Do you find the pieces oxidize over time? How do you care for them?
Since the finished pieces are fine silver they don’t oxidize nearly as quickly as sterling silver. If they need a little polishing I use a pro polish pad.

Thanks, Michael, I appreciate that!
