- For our 12th Episode LLB covers a true American icon - Johnny Cash. A member of both the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame & Country Music Hall of Fame his impact on music is undeniable We've picked four of our faves and have our guest and friend JD Simo along with us for this series. We're also glad to have Kevin & Jay (Big River Band) back with us for this project. Thanks for sharing music with us and sharing your time to check out this series!
I always come back and every time I really wish there were (way) more songs from this magical combo, than only these four.
Thanks so much for checking this out..greatly appreciated!
I was unaware of Jake D. Simo until I saw these videos. While watching, I thought to myself, that man has a bright future in country music. As I looked for more from JD, I learned his passion is blues. It was hunger and the proposition of homelessness that pushed him to learn chicken picking and the country music genre. Well, country music missed out on a phenomenal player. Love his contribution to LLB covers. Thanks for your work.
Thanks so much for checking this out..greatly appreciated!

2:39 JD so mesmerizing you look like you weren't sure where you were on the song, not that I would ever diss on your talent as you can definitely lay the licks but it had to be amazing to play with him.
Timothy Padilla it was a thrill for sure! thanks for giving your time to check this out and i sure appreciate the kind words - i have no business even holding a guitar with him in the room:)

Can you say purr-fesh-ional! Refreshing boot scootin' sound. That "Young Gun's" a nice addition I'd keep him around. I like the new studio too, real down home, is that Kristofferson's place.

I've listened to this 5 times right in a row and have read many comments. Who is the scarfed Tele player (JD), does he have a website, how did I not see this cover for six years, and is his guitar a B-bender? My guess is no.
Thanks so much for checking this out..greatly appreciated!
Thoroughly enjoyed that. Dale is there's a DVD or Vid Download of all the LLB stuff? That would be very cool
Mud Wiser thanks so much for listening! No sir i'm sorry we don't - we do have a website that has all of the vids by artist posted - i have a playlist of LLB vids on this channel. If we ever do a DVD i will do my best to share that info with you.

@@tonedr who is he?
@@breech123 JD Simo
@@tonedr Thank you. But when I looked that name up prior, it didn't look like him, nor was he playing a Tele. My bad. 7 times in a row I've listened. Masterpiece gave me goosebumps.
