Jesus- i spent the whole week listening to your videos. I fell behind in my work. My wife yelled at me when I didn’t do any yard work I promised to do.

I am six nine years old ... use to play in a band as a youngster .... we played these very songs .... I get a lump in my throat ... really miss those days ... I discovered LLB during the covid lockdown in our country, South Africa ... I have sent links to the remaining four members of our old band .... every one of them are hooked now ... It is so good to see the enjoyment the musicians feel .... the quality is superb ... i enjoy these videos so much

I just want to say what all of you are doing is the greatest! To keep the Classic Rock music alive for us 60’s, 70, 80, guys is so cool & dearly needed because the music of today just ain’t there like a whole band playing all their instruments and just not drum machines or all samples are today. As a recording engineer in Nashville, The Lab band would be a dream band to work with!! Thank all of you for bringing such good memories back to us baby boomers 👍👍👍👍👍. Rock on 🤘

Thank you LLB! I just discovered you a week ago, and have since listened to 100+ videos. I am 19 again, cruising 4th Street in Louisville in my '67 GTO on a Saturday night. The songs not only bring back memories, they bring back feelings and emotions. I have rediscovered the joy music use to give me, I had lost that. Bless you!

I've been a HUGE LLB fan for years - and somehow, I just came across this video (about how the band works) - I'm even a bigger fan now than before - I have so much appreciation for the talent, passion, and commitment of these performers! I so appreciate this history of the Lexington Lab Band. Ya'll have created a venue for so many of us fans to enjoy the classic rock we all grew up on. It's next to impossible to find a cover band that sounds more like Boston than Boston. And the Bruce Hornsby hit, "That's the Way It Is" is probably one of my favorites. The keyboardist was so perfect in every way, the vocals were spot on and everything about it was simply perfection. Keep 'em coming! I have to say I just discovered Lexington Lab Band less than a year ago, more like 4 or 5 months. This resonates with me. In a way it reminds me of the music videos back when Mtv played music, but it's more than that. I am drawn deeply into the intimacy of great music and passionate musicians. I will watch videos repeatedly to catch nuances of style. Even the vocals, for awhile I worried that the female backup singers were witches their voices were so hypnotic!
Additionally, I love watching the musicians play these songs. More than notes on a page, I can see how they bend, fold , and shape tones to give the unique sounds that really made these songs hits. Perhaps more than all of this I enjoy being a part of the experience through the videos. The camera crews do a good job of making it seem like we are simply there in an intimate setting with a group of talented friends just having our minds blown.
This happened once when I was in the Navy. Walking back to our berthing area, I heard the EAGLES being played in a space beyond ours. I walked back to find not a boom box on 11, but five or six fellow Nukes playing their guitars together. Their skill blew me away. The LLB is that same feeling times 1000. Thank you for doing this for us - and for rescuing music from the dumpster fire that is the current music industry.

I Love it when the history of the band and the logistics of what is behind the fantastic videos that we are watching are explained. This is a very good job of showing all of these in this video. I cannot say enough of the dedication of musicians and the behind the scenes video camera people coming together to replicate such music and enjoying this at the same time. No one is forcing these people to play, they are doing it for the love of making music. I have been told that that making music is the key to bringing people together. Yes , we need more music in this world, we are too far apart now as it is! THANK YOU LLB! I Love You Guys!!!

Funny, about 30 minutes in Dale says about people still discovering LLB and saying they aint getting anything done...that is exactly what has happened to me today! I am COVID working from home and put RUclips on for some background noise and discovered LLB. Every video/song is fantastic! Totally blown away by the musicianship and craft that all of the participants bring to the table. I have played and gigged for a number of years and would say that I am 50% talent / 50% winging it!! LLB are 100% talent, period, and they really do bring the energy to the room too.
What really grabbed me was the Boston stuff. I love that first Boston album and hearing Peace of Mind and Foreplay/Longtime played so authentically is really satisfying. Thanks for sharing with the world guys!

The men and women they get together for these jam sessions are amazing. These are the songs of my high school and coming of age years. I’ve been to numerous classic rock concerts over the last forty-five years and LLB plays them all. It makes me wish I was a better guitarist and was good enough to sit in on a session. This has become my current down-time passion. Keep rocking’!

You guys cover all the music that I grew up loving and, frankly, that’s still on the playlists that I listen to a lot still to this day. The quality of your musicianship, video production, arrangements and harmonies all are top notch. I am enjoying this so much and also am really glad you did this “making of video” because it gave me an appreciation for who you are, how you started, what your goals are. Every time I think of a song for you, I see that you already covered it. Your harmonies on Eagles songs would be great I’m sure. This is a cover band that I’ve always wanted to have! After years of making original music and not getting to where I wanted to be, I started playing covers and looked for this class of musicianship. Although I came close, NOTHING LIKE LLB! LLB IS THEE BEST OVERALL COVER BAND EVER! These guys are TRUE musicians with talent that is OUT OF THIS WORLD!

I was a bit distraught when Vanderbilly disappeared and I could no longer learn those grips from tonedr. Then one day while searching for it, I came upon LLB. Wow! Loved this documentary and the videos over the years. I've watched so many of them multiple times and always appreciate the high quality of the musicians, sound, and video. I was surprised to see the size of the film crew! There is something very fun and intimate about watching the videos, thinking they're great, typing a comment on my computer, and then finding out that the artists read the comments and enjoy them!
It's so noticeable when people do something with love and passion. The best news is that you have a big backlog and are excited to keep doing this. Thanks for all of it!

First, you guys / gals are just a joy and I'm so grateful to you guys for keeping this music alive and allowing the younger generation(s) to hear what music used to be like and how great it is.
Second, I've been watching / listening for a while now and gathered quite a playlist of LLB covers on my RUclips music and I was listening for hours and hours. I finally said to myself "You know you have all of this music from the original artists in your own music collection and you could simply put together a playlist of these songs. However, I was enjoying your covers so much that I just keep listening. There is a subjective quality and enjoyment I get from the entire audio and video production which is so satisfying and enjoyable." I love your honoring of the artists' original intent and try your best to capture it. I hope your music community of musicians continues to love to do this because we love to see it and hear it. I remember hearing Hitch a ride a while back and thinking, what in the world is this, someone is playing Boston to a friggen tee and I listened to it a few times and then drifted away. I listen to the same type of music and through searching youtube, I found my way back to Hitch a ride again. I go online to learn songs as a learner and all of a sudden, I get inspired by such class in your band of wisdom. What a great idea to cover songs and bands so beautifully. Everything is so to a tee from guitar to voices. Sure there are areas that can't be matched perfectly, but damn I don't think you can replicate very much to a tee. Most artists can't even replicate their own professionalisms. After watching this video of how it was all done, I definitely wasn't surprised to hear the outcome knowing everyone is at such a level of happiness lost in music. One of the most precious things in life is music. To hear copies of a band like Boston which is almost perfection is unbelievable. Never thought I would hear guitar, bass, drums, keys and definitely not voice like that. Truly inspiring to me. Will definitely listen to more and more to see the growth of such class. Cheers to all musicians and makers of this creation. Simply dynamic.

As I can't stop playing the videos I thought I'd check this "making of the band" video. So nice to hear that you read our comments and like them. What a really nice bunch of people you are. Need to say that this lockdown hell that we're all going through has been made so much easier with your videos to watch. Viewers need to make sure the sound goes into HiFi rather than just a phone so as to get all the lovely bass etc. I'd also like to say that we not only have fantastic music, fantastic musicians but also all the red hot fantastic instruments ( I LOVE guitars ) and you have a stack of top notch stuff to drool over. The thing that's always amazed me is how young many of the bands whose songs you play were quite young 16-20 or so when they were playing or when they first started the band and how talented they were already. With YOU TUBE now kids have so many amazing musicians out their that are playing and teaching that they have so much opportunity to improve and learn from others. You all have put together people who are amazing musicians that really inspires other musicians to improve and realize that to sound so good you have to put in the hours/days/weeks if you want the outcome something you can be proud of. It's a year on and I'm watching your clips more and more,i would rather listen and watch your clips than the originals,because you can see the pleasure and joy you obviously have for doing these tracks,i for one absolutely love the Huey Lewis tracks,your singer just blows me away,there is no better collection of music to not just listen to but more importantly to watch,i have learnt so much more drumming from just being able to watch,thanks so much for work.

For nearly 50 years I've played thousands of covers and yet there is a unique challenge to create as well as you can, regardless of how many times the song has been performed. It's good these guys don't tour. This would be the longest one in history. Even fooling around, I'll bet it'd be 6 to 8 weeks.

Thanks to the pandemic I wound up slowing down, turning my home office into a man cave, listening to a lot more music than usual, going back to my roots as a musician and radio DJ in the 80s, and found the LLB. Listened to a few songs, was DUMBFOUNDED, and then couldn't wait to watch this video. THANK YOU ALL for keeping alive some of the best music to ever spring forth from humans. So if the Stones can still go at it after almost 60 years, you people...well, you get what I'm saying. KEEP IT UP, LOL.

really great - just discovered LLB a few weeks ago on youtube and have spent many hours enjoying the music. Particularly like the Steely Dan songs which really are a perfect replica of the originals - and I appreciate that they are particularly difficult ones to get right! Keep up the good work..

Wife and I listen to the Lab Band almost everyday. We have a Fire Stick on our TV. ( We were turned on to the fire stick by our Grandson) . Put it on RUclips and let it play for hours. Love you guys and gals !! Keep it up!!

What I appreciate most about this band is that unlike many cover bands who try to make the tunes their own, LLB want to replicate the original sounds without getting too fancy and going overboard.

Thank you, I just turned 70 on 1-11-21 and just when I think I have found the majority of the best band's on RUclips, I found you wonderful people yesterday! Like alot of people I played in bands when I was younger and we would have our OMG moments on stage when it felt like what we always strove to accomplish, happened, just comfortably almost like magic happened, Oh what a feeling! But as usual I digress.
To hear and SEE what all of you bring to so many people is just many notches above joy.
To have been to so many concerts in my life where certainly not all but quite a few were just off. Maybe because the band was having a bad night or the sound people just didn't get it tweaked right or on quite a few occasions I was over tweaked. !
In closing, again I thank you for bringing me up close where many times I just got bad seats, and for giving me the sound that I so many times missed.
I have more than a few videos of Lexington to catch up on, and I hope that you will continue to love what you are doing for a very long time.

OMG, I just a pic of three women and a caption of (Foreigner) Waiting for a girl like you. Clicked on it out of curiosity and Holy Crap! I have watched everything I can find I am absolutely in love with the fact that they take the time to make it as perfect and as close to the originals as possible. I close my eyes and listen almost in disbelief.I am a forever fan and will listen to anything and everything that they do in the future. Truly talented musicians and damn passionate about what they are doing.

Great work you guys! I may be a little older than a lot of your listeners, 72, so the music you chose is the stuff I grew up with. I was a teenager when the beatles hit. To be able to put my headsets on and go back in time is very moving for me. I was lucky enough to be able to see some of this iconic music live, so the work that all of you put into reproducing the original sounds is very much appreciated.

This is an absolute GOLD MINE! I found this less than 18 hours ago and other than a few hours of sleep, I've been running these vids non stop. AWESOME is the only word to describe this.
