Brilliant observational comedy. My son is in his 40's now. I comfort myself in knowing he's about to go through all this [as though it never happened to him] with his kids...and worse.

I love the joke about his 14 year old son driving him home and no more than 3 pints.

@@CARLIN4737 It's a bit sad you have to ask that question. But for the record there is a strange satisfaction in realising what you thought were personal quirks really form part of a generational attitude. And Jack delivers the message with comedic panache. That's "what".

I agree...up to a point. Dave Allen was class, sure, but the number of laughs were few and far between. His jokes took an age to get to the punchline.
But yes....sadly missed.

Right off the bat, to hear an adult say that they have a teenager at home who is 20 is just simply wrong.Theyy are not a teenager, they are an adult.
This is in fact what is wrong with parents today, another form of coddling.
He says at the start that he has one 20 year old, and an eighteen year old and two fifteen year olds….so other than his 20 year old the other three kids are actually teenagers!
