He's chairman of the greatest and longest running comedy panel shows ever I'm Sorry l Haven't A Clue, he took over as host a few months after Humphrey Lyttleton died, they tried out Stephen Fry but he just didnt ring true, a rare failure for Stephen but Jacks curmudgeonly character was more in fitting with the shows caustic wit he was more in the style of Humphrey,.. Its still a great show now, and l would be honoured to say it was my full time job.

I watched this last night and laughed (thanks Jack). Then I read quite a lot of sour comments underneath, some of them, I guess, from Americans who don't understand why the grumpy Brit is funny to other grumpy Brits, and others of them, perhaps, from a few younger Brits who take an overly earnest approach to life in general. I guess I've got to say it. So what! (Jack's right: I feel better already😅).
An interesting fact is that i went to the same school as Jack - so what? 😂

I don't think you've quite got the hang of when to use a "so what" in a conversation.
I have never been happier to have a face that instantly says, "F**k off and leave me alone or I'll eat your head!", I never get into these situations and can wander around thinking happy, fluffy thoughts about bunnies and flowers.

Steep, corkscrew, barrel roll descent of a 757 to perfectly level out just off the ground for its final approach; performed by a pilot who had been reported to authorities by an instructor over concerns of ability. And don't forget that other 757 that was completely vapourised in a smoking hole in the ground that very same day. Weird, eh?

You're wrong. Three years ago, on that very date, I got a nasty paper cut playing with paper airplanes. On top of that I threw one into the local paper shop and the whole thing collapsed into its own footprint. The local police tried to arrest me on terrorism charges but their case was paper thin.

Yeah, I've actually been there twice, for no reason whatsoever. So I immediately left, having had no reason to even be there in the first place. It did look pretty shit though.

I saw him live just after lockdown. The support act was brilliant, but when Jack came on after, he just had so much stage presence that you could feel a change in the atmosphere, like a buzz of anticpation of a great evening ahead.

Modern steel structured buildings generally don't collapse because of fires. Certainly not that quickly. It also fell at free fall speed. Your friend is smart.

Instead of going after various interpretations, analysing their likelihoods, checking data and their sources, understanding how varying hypotheses were formed. And, most importantly, having an eye on the well understood mindset of conspiracy theorists. That is hard work and it takes a truly independent and scientific mind to accept whatever the data says.
