Another example is King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, one of the band's founding members Stuart Mackenzie was frequently given the mixing engineer credits for most sessions.
I discovered Ginger Root in 2021 viewing the clip "Loretta" and being an avid fan of 70s-80s era dance music that song and the rest of Ginger Root's recordings had instant impact, his work never ceases to amaze me and the fact he uses old video cameras and the old VHS look and old time video effects further adds wow factor to his clips!!! This live performance was fantastic and enjoyed it all!!! BTW am also a big fan of Yellow Magic Orchestra, absolute legendary Japanese electronic band!!!
if you ever get a chance to go to a ginger root show, go! so good, and genuinely funny. the crowd is a great vibe too, at least in london! the only show i’ve been to where the crowd wasn’t chatting constantly and being disrespectful to the artists. ginger root has cultivated a great fan base!
