Great video. Will definitely integrate this into my game. Are there any patterns that you use specifically against left-handed players? Great website btw.
Hey thanks a lot 💪 yes usually going into their backhand, that’s what they try to do and are comfortable with. When they play cross into my backhand I like to go line into their backhand and then control with the forehand. And taking away the leftie serve through positioning
curious, how would you recommend an amateur to integrate this into a match! is it based on feeling, or do you try and execute it from #1-#5 in order and see what works
Hey I can make an entire video on this, for now try in practice and see which you can master in a match. Top players use plays over and over again, one can’t expect to win every point. It’s a game of statistics
C-D-A is 3 shots and the second shot (D) has to be angled. For backhand cage you aim to the backhand and wait for the short ball, can be 1 or unlimited shots technically. C-D-A is predetermined, Backhand Cage dependent on opponents shot quality
Thanks 💪 if you hit hard and deep it is very difficult for the opponent to hit the corners effectively. Try it out you’ll see what I mean. And if they go to the corners with a weak ball then you have the full court to attack
@@gavlatennis2824 if these shots have enough speed and depth then very few people can handle it. Djokovic’s signature return strategy is return deep middle plus second shot deep middle then he is up in the Rallye. It’s simple but obviously not easy
Wieder ein tolles Video! Dein Kanal steigt langsam aber sicher zu einem meiner Tennis Favoriten auf YT auf! Danke Dir!
Hey vielen Dank 💪 demnächst kommt ein Ähnliches Video
Das ist wirklich erstklassiger Content. Vielen Dank dafür.
Sehr gerne und Danke für das Feedback 💪
Wow. I really appreciate it. Had never learned these. Most videos just put emphasis on hitting deepcrosses first and foremost.
You’re welcome! It’s crazy how few coaches know or teach this. More coming 💪
Awesome Stuff 🔥🔥

What's the key difference between the Backhand Cage and C-D-A?

@@hendrik_jebens thank you!
Good video but 6:41 makes no sense. You opponent could easily have started hitting into the corners if he had wanted to.

True but there would have to be a big difference in levels for your opponent to be handcuffed simply by big heavy shots down the middle.

What about hitting an ace when serving and a return winner when returning?
I feel it's a pretty good tactic to win matches
@@jpm545 serve like Pete Return like Andre 😎
@@hendrik_jebens I try that, but I always end up serving like Errani and returning like Karlovic
What does CDA stand for?
Placement of the shots, first to C then D then A. Explained beginning of the video
@@hendrik_jebens Replayed the video and I got to that part this time. Thank you! Thought it may be Cross/Double down/Attack lol
