OMG Simona 😍 I just got here your channel, mainly because of the Jollibee taste test and found your 'Tasting Filipino Foods' playlist. 💕 Ah, I'm now a fan. Btw, chicharon is the term for us of "really crunchy crackers". And...are you still in the Philippines? Try travel blogs too if you have the budget, I think it's not too expensive to travel here in our country. 😉 Proud Filipina 💙❤💛
+Quennie Geron hi 👋👋 Thank you for the kind words and welcome to the family!! 💜💜 I love your travel recommendation! I'd just need to plan it well and have some travel buddies! One day soon, I hope!! Lots of love 💜💜💜💜
Hi Simona! I like your videos and most definitely your personality! Currently doing a marathon of your videos. I’m one of your notif squads now. God bless you always 😍
Try pili nuts, the regular one that comes in the bottle(sweet). Also, ube ice cream. Sweet Corn(it's in the chip aisle in the grocery). Marty's Cracklings. Try Biscotti with a cup of coffee in the morning. It's like a breakfast snack. It comes from Spain but it tastes better sweet. dried mango, "7D" brand is the most famous.
i seldom comment on youtube. but i found your jollibee review funny. and yesss! everything is sweet there. i love the peach mango pie too. you gotta try: The stuff you have here are mostly spin offs. go for the authentic pork chicaron or mang juan's chicharon, boy bawang, tamarind candy, the red chippy, chiz curlz, and some filipino delicasies :)
+cathy bacay awww you're so sweet!! That's such a compliment! I'm glad you commented ❤ The peach mango pie has rocked my world! I'll take your advice on the authentic and look for them! ❤❤
I agree with her! You have to try local delicacies like piaya, napoleones, crispy shrimps, barquiron, hopia, pan de coco, squid rings, pinasugbo, paborita, banana chips, yema, puto kutchinta, lapids chicharon
you can buy them at the supermarket especially the mang juan(with suka and sili flavored), boy bawang(try the adobo or chicken inasal flavor), tamarind candies and red chippy etc.
Haha, very good to watch. You're always giving me good vibes. You look so natural when you're giving your opinions to Filipino foods. I've been a fan since I first saw your Jollibee video. 😊😊😊 Double thumbs up! 👍🏻👍🏻
"There's definitely things there that I would be buying again for personal use." ahaha You're amazing. I love how you caught yourself and was like, like wth did I just say? ahaha Love your humor.
Mushroom chicharon looks yum!!! The traditional pastillas is purely made of carabao's milk curd ... nowadays they mix it with flour and too much sugar! Well done pretty Simona!
Hello! you must try the Pastillas made out of cow's milk or goat's milk. it's amazing. its a milk candy. the pastillas you've tried is made of powdered sugar and condense milk.
A great way to get exposure to filipino snack foods is to take long bus rides to the province. Sometimes the bus would stop someplace where you can find food, and other times, vendors would board the bus and sell their wares direct to the passengers. The quality might not be the best, but you can find some really good stuff that way. My personal favorite is chicken skin chicharon
+Vocal Goddess aww welcome to the family po! Thank you for leaving some love!! 💜 And yeah, I was referring to balut. Not sure I have it in me to try... 😞😞💜💜💜
hi Simona I hope you would try polvoron, spicy dilis, chocnut, salted tamarind candy, hawhaw (candy) mikmik (milk chocolate powder) some street food like kwekkwek, fish ball, kikiam :) nice videos by the way :)
Please try 1. Boy bawang bbq and adobo flavor 2. Piattos cheese flavor and sour cream flavor 3. Tomi sweet corn 4. Crackling salt n vinegar 5. Chippy the red one 6. Goldilocks polvoron classic flavor and cookies n cream flavor and then try to whistle :) 7. Ding dong mixed nuts 8. Kirei 9. Oishi prawn crackers spicy 10. Mr. chips Thank you. U can find it all in the supermarket :)
Simona you're welcome its nice to see other country enjoying philippine products.. it helps the people.. and you enjoy helping them.. both side wins hehehe

I'm new to your channel actually. I appreciate it because I can discover other snacks available here in the Philippines. I know most of them but there are some I haven't heard of yet although I'm Filipino.
These are not the authentic Filipino snacks. Try chicharon baboy, oishi salt and vinegar, pancit malabon,pichi-pichi, polvoron, curly tops chocolates, spicy dilis, chippy, clover, choc nut, boy bawang, fudgee bar
simona Chicharon isnt actually a spice. It's any food that is deeply fried until it's crunchy. There are sooo many types of chicharon.Corn, pork, pork intestine, chicken intesine, snake etc. It may sound gross and disgusting but when you actually get a taste of it.....Super delicious! And btw,When eating chicharon you need to prepare a souce to dip in and for us filipinos,we use spicy vinegar or just simlply vinegar.
simona They are ttaditional snacks somewhere in the philippines. Filipinos are very regionalistic so anything that is not in their region=does not exist
although i live in the philippinea for 14 years, i ve never tried to taste some of the snacks in this vid. so im so jealous, maybe i'll try next time. but i like going to malls and stalls. to eat . 😄😄

Not sure but I guess using a manual lens could help.... some overheating problems are caused by a communication glitch bet. sony autofocus lens chips and camera bodies, LOve your vids btw... from the Philippines
