Hey guys! Welcome back! How are you? What have you been up to? What are your plans for the weekend?
Many of you have recommended I do a video like this, and this video has been on my to do list FOR THE LONGEST TIME. I'm always seeing people buying their lunch and dinner at 7-Eleven and it has always smelled so good! I'm a HUGE fan of their pastries and really struggle to control myself when buying something sweet. Do you lunch at 7-Eleven? What's your go-to meal?
This isn't a sponsored post. Would be cool if it was, am I right?! FREE DONUTS ANYONE?! Hahah
Suggestions for more taste tests are welcome!
Stay awesome, fam!

I'm from Australia too and the donuts in the Philippines are absolutely gorgeous 😊 so much better than Donut King 😂
They’re so soft in the Philippines!!!!
Same I’m Australian but I have a filipino family and every single holiday we go to the Philippines
Ministop chicken is the best, do a mini stop version of this please ☺️
Getting a lot of requests for this!! Love it! I’ll check it out!
Yes!!
@@HungrySimonaFilipenes 🇵🇭🇵🇭berry berry Love ❤️❤️🏝️🏝️🏝️🏝️
"Magkano" yasss gurl! i love it! like no aussie accent at all! ❤
Hahahaha yeah?!?!? Oh man best compliment! You’ve made my day!! Hahaha
@@HungrySimona also a little tip on pronouncing siopao, its like "sho-pow (power)" 😉
When she chews it’s like ASMR, literally used this to try and sleep
Cheer's Big Ear's😂a good start for a day ,watch simona's vlog😍😍
comment first while watching haha
Hahahah ❤️❤️❤️
You are waaay too cute!!! I enjoyed this video.
😮🤭 I’VE WATCHED YOUR VIDEOS. 🙌
Thank you for the love 🙏❤️❤️ Go get that gold button!!!
yay more vids Welcome back!!!
Hahahaha I love the fact that every time I upload a video you guys say “welcome back” because I upload so infrequently!!! 😂😂😂
Yep sometimes for breakfast I’d go to 7-eleven in Manila and get a Tuna Cheese toasted sandwich (they toast it for you at the counter) a few hard boiled eggs and a banana with a coconut water 🙂 easy, cheap and all your nutrients sorted 🤙🏽
Oh my TUNA CHEESE TOASTIE ARE YOU KIDDING??? I love that. Sounds like a solid nutritious brekky! Love it!
Thank you for doing this. We appreciate and we love you 🖤🖤🖤
❤️❤️❤️❤️ aw thanks love!!!
actually ketchup and mustard is included when you bought hotdog with bread...
They didn’t give meeeeee
@@HungrySimona that's sad..coz its a complimentary condiments...the one that is hang in the warmer is an "extra" that you have to buy for extra flavor or sauce...so next time if they don't gave you the ketchup and mustard dressing..ask for it..coz its free..
Here its ketchup and dressing not mustard😂
That last bit. 🤣 A'ryt Simona, see. you. next. time! 🤣
Hahahah ❤️❤️❤️❤️😂😂😂😂
Watching during quarantine!👻😏
Simply Simona, your so great, unbelievable appetite 😊😊😊😊
Hahaha, thank you? ❤️😂
You deserve more subscribers. More more power to you 😇😇
Aw shucks!!! ❤️❤️❤️ thank you love!!
I highly recommend buying taho from a guy carrying 2 stainless buckets .. best eaten in the morning.
I will look for him!
@@HungrySimona Hi did you found him?
How you eat all you eat and not gain weight is a blessing! How to be you!?
Hahaha I don’t always eat like this love!!! But also I’m super tall? Maybe that helps a bit
Yup, 7-11 is my go to place for fast, yummy and good value food. Great variety in you’re taste test. My favourite would be the taho and the chicken nuggets as well as their hotdogs. Love the foodie review!!!❤️😋 Looking forward to an encore!!!
Yay!!! Glad you liked it! 7-11 is a great place for food!
The hotdog sandwich should come with 2 dif sauce. One I think is the mustard and the other one is the classic catsup. Not sure why they did not provide you. And that completes the taste. You should try putting con carne as well
I’ll ask them next time!! Maybe they just didn’t have any in stock? I’ll look for con carne too
Its manhattan dressing it has mustard and mayo i guess
The con carne sauce was right in front of you btw. Same place where you got the packet of cheese sauce :D
When you kinda gave up pronouncing siopao! Haha 😂😂😂 I wish i cud see you vlogging around makati. 🤞🏻#loveyrvideos ❤️
Hahaha
Hahahahit was just to difficult for me!! Hahahah
I like how you just quit pronouncing the siopao sauce and just settled with sauce. 😅
Hahahaha I couldn’t butcher it any more than I did 😂😂😂
sho-pow
@Simona....The braid-like thing you said you don’t know is also a donut in a different form. It’s popular in many rural bakeries where it’s mostly coated with white sugar. Like the conventional ring-shaped donuts, braided donuts also get fried.
Ughhhhhh I knew I liked it for a reason 😂❤️❤️
@Simona....’Budget’ can also mean smaller size as opposed to regular or premium size. In that case of 7-11 siopao, budget size means junior or smaller size. In other 7-11 stores, they use regular and small terms.
Thank you for explaining!!!
Simona, budget size means smaller than the regular ones. Much cheaper and budget friendly. ☺
That makes sense! Thanks love!!
so lovely. just love watching you eat 😍😍
Hahaha, thanks? 😂❤️
@@HungrySimona hahaha more Filipino food taste test ❤️😍
Now, I'm officially hungry, Simona! Everything you picked out looked really good. I wish they had them in the 7Eleven here in the States.
Hahaha I’m sorry!!! Yeah 7Eleven isn’t too fab in Aus, not when I was there!!
Asado (Spanish: [aˈsaðo]) are the techniques and the social event of having or attending a barbecue in various South American countries, where it is also a traditional event. An asado usually consists of beef, pork, chicken, chorizo, and morcilla which are cooked on a grill, called a parrilla, or an open fire.
Thanks for hitting me with that knowledge!!! Hahahah love it!
The experience wouldn't be complete without getting their budget meals. Sisig, Giniling, and Tuna with egg plus rice which costs around 30 pesos.
Sisig with egg and rice sounds like a DREAM!!! I can’t mix tuna and egg, my stomach doesn’t like it :(
But you’re right! I should check out the budget meals too!! Would be so cool to do a comparison
But its not delicious... We eat it coz its cheap.. Thats it...
@@jeongin006 Not the best yes, but for its price its all good. You should try it by buying their chili con carne plus cheese for additional 15 pesos. It's the shot 😉
@@HungrySimona Whoops! Mean to say it's like an omelet type hehehe If you'll also buy giniling try it with chili con carne with cheese. I find it yummier with that combination hehehe 😊
Notif squad! I like all of it in hotdogs... Mayo, ketchup and mustard!
Yes yes and yes
SimonaVlogs it just not the same without those three!
Normally, they give manhattan dressing and ketchup for hotdogs. Budget Siopao (si-yo-paw) is a bit smaller than the regular ones. You can also ask the crews to have your rice meal heated and have it on the go.
Thanks for letting me know!!! ❤️
Please do a Dampa taste test. I would recommend their famous Garlic Buttered shrimp ♥♥♥
I’ll have to Google this!! ❤️
Love the channel !! Subscribed and notifications turned on
Aw man, you’re too sweet!! Thank you and welcome to the family!!!!!! ❤️❤️
I love the Expression you do with your eyes when you take the first bite LOL ^_^
Hahaha ❤️❤️ it’s not weird??? Glad you like it love!
@@HungrySimona Nope, It looks Natural ^_^ keep it up love!
The rice meals are good. You should try the pork barbecue with java rice or the baked chicken with rice or the grilled liempo with Kangkong. And for their drinks, the cucumber lemonade is good and refreshing. If you like hot coffee, try their city blends. And for the siopao, budget siopao is the smaller size of the premium siopao.
Awww hell yeah I love a good rice meal! I can’t believe I haven’t tried the cucumber lemonade!!!! Crazy!!! And thanks for the explanation! Some people said the budget siopao is cat meat 😂I’m glad it’s a size thing!
@@HungrySimona i think it's a running joke in the ph that siopao is made of cat meat 😂 like an urban legend/rumor and it just stuck for years. i was teased about it when i had my first siopao when i was younger lmao now i know better. it's definitely not true. some say the rumor stemmed from chinatown binondo manila bc there were so many stray cats and they sold so much siopao the locals just thought it was what siopao was made of.
Now I'm craving for Siopao and Mami from MA MON LUK.... Taho is much better fresh from vendors that roam the streets, so, if you hear anyone yelling "taho" outside in the streets, you should try it.
You’re the second person to suggest this! I’ll keep an ear out! Thanks love!
Simona, maybe next time you can try to make a taste test to their rice meals! 😊 it’s good and budget friendly
Haven't stop at a 7-11 every time I've been visited the Philippines. Next time!! Loving these vlogs!!!
You totally should!!! So impressed with the range!!!
Bad timing of watching this video! I wanna go to the nearest 7-11 just to buy the jam donuts! 😭
Hi Simona! Try the bola bola! it’s the savory variety of siopao!
Everyone is telling me to try bola bola! I have to try it!
And this jam donuts are killer! Love them.
My God what an apettite u have! Have u tried "Sarsi"? its a softdrink and how 'bout Sarsi w/ egg?
1 can of sarsi + 1 raw egg then mix together( beat the egg w/ sarsi) i must say that is soooo good. Specially if ur tired and exhausted.
I personally couldn’t do the raw egg BUT I know it’s super nutritious and with Sarsi I can see how you’d get a nice energy kick! Smart man ❤️
Watching this while eating is so satisfying hahahaha.
Hahahahaha YESSS that’s what I like to see!!!!!!! Love it!
Great video as usual
Thank you love!!!
purple yam is Ube ! and those round things at the bottom of the taho are tapoioca balls
Thank you and thank you!!! Hahaha ❤️❤️
@@HungrySimona am a long time subscriber Simona what happened you had a long absence from vlogging? you remind me of my sister who has pretty much same fivure you have and she's 5' 10" too !
thank goodness I ate before this video came up or else i'd crave some. haha!
Hahahah perfect timing then!!!
I always loved your videos
Thanks love!! ❤️
O' man my fav vlgr is back!......
❤️❤️ yessssssssss
I don't normally go to 7-11 here in the US, I'll have to check to see if they have prepared food like in your stores there.
Me neither!! Never did it in Aus but Ph is different. The Asian 7-Elevens have so much variety!
This makes me want to get a donut now. The best out of 7-Eleven is the Hershey Dark choco city blend drink; beats McDo and Jollibee, other convenient store choco drinks 😋
I’ll have to try it next time!!!
@@HungrySimona a tip: if you notice the drink coming out the machine too watery, you can ask the personnel to refill the powder mixture in the machine 😉
Mimi terrado on tr ty
Budget foods for students is Siopao and the Hotdog section. For the drinks is the Slurpee or the Drinks when you put it on the plastic cups 😄👌
Fave video!!
Having lunch while watching. Anyway you should try Ministop's chicken. It's way better and bigger than 711's.
Better??? Really??? Ok I’ll try
Bola-bola (Filpino meatball) Siopao is my fave! Especially the Bola-bola with the egg inside. Gotta' go back for a redo. ahaha Asado is too sweet for me. There was a 711 near The Peninsula where I stayed and the first time I went into one there, I was so excited/shocked to see Filipino food. I grew up with the boring American 711 with Buffalo Chicken Taquitos, Mozzarella Sticks and Slurpees. haha xX
Aus 7Eleven was the same!!! Pretty boring stuff! I haven’t been to one in Aus for so long I can’t wait to see whether they’ve changed.
I’ll try to find the bola-bola siopao next time!! I love anything with egg so that’ll be a bonus ❤️
Also, there’s nothing wrong with mozzarella sticks, watchyo mouth 😂❤️❤️❤️
@@HungrySimona bahahaha SO true. My bad. Mozzarella sticks really are bomb though. haha
💖💓💗
no choco butternut!🙃 that's the best one from mister donut!!😋😋😉
PS: for me the placement of the camera in the very 1st Jollibee taste test video is better.. (for me 😁😁😅)
Ah ok that’s good to know!! I’ll work on the camera placement!! Thanks love!
And I have to find the choco butternut!
Nice lunch. Try the hot food sometimes and compare it with other convenience stores. Budget (show)siopao is cat meat j/k. I like a girl who likes donuts. If you go out with me, I will take you on a 7-11 date :)
Hahaha I really hope you’re joking about the cat meat!!! Great idea about comparing news!
@@HungrySimona Hello. if you don't see any cats on the street, then maybe lol. I actually saw someone already did compare hot foods from convenience stores, I don't want you to be a copycat meow. You can compare donuts from Dunkin, Krispy Kreme and Mister Donuts. You would need a workout vlog after that.
Actualy....you could ask the crew to heat your cold stuffs in their microwave..like the sandwiches, rice meals so on
Ooh ok!!!! Good to know!! Thanks love!
😘😘😘
Notif squad!!! lets go!!
❤️❤️❤️
Why are you so good speak english and you look like amazing. 😃 by the way im new subscriber love your vids welcome to the Philippines 😃
Hahaha, aw love! Thank you and welcome to the family!!!!! ❤️
healthy taste test if you are ok with so-call veggie meat and if you are close to SM Mega Mall I recommend Bodhi ... price might look a bit expensive but it is worth the money to try. basically they use the same type of veggie meat and the sauce just varies for different flavor according to what meat it is supposed to represent. no meat just pure veggies
I’ve eaten at a lot of vegan restaurants, and I’m not a fan of “fake” meat. Just let veggies be veggies! Hahah I LOVE vegetables!! Most of my meals don’t have any meat. But I’ll check it out love! Thanks for the recommendation!! ❤️❤️
@@HungrySimona thank you i hope you like it
@@HungrySimona forgot to mention the fastfood is located at MegaMall Foodcourt Bldg A Basement. there are also a lot of good eats there which might also catch your attention. take care
Do try the mocha flavoured donut with custard inside (if you love mocha), it’s soooo delicious.
I do and I shall!!! Thanks love!!!
Siopao pronounced as C.O. pow! Word of mouth, there were rumors back in the 90's. people were saying that they/the merchants are using meat from strays or abducted domesticated pet cats in the Siopao's fillings. Many, reported exotic breeds of cats as pets missing and were never found. Some customers apparently finding hunks of diced pieces of meat with fur still attached to the pieces.
I reaaaaaally hope this is just a rumour!!! 😂😂😂😂😱😱😱😱😱
And thanks for the pronunciation!!
AHHHHHH!!! OMG ❤️❤️❤️
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
definitely new for the PHL but other vloggers have food review of 711 of Japan. Hmm, I wonder what's next? 😊❤👍
Yeah I’ve seen a lot do 7Eleven Japan!!!!! I’d love to do that if I ever go back
You can ask the crew to toast ur sandwiches or heat em in microwave and ur ricemeals pasta etc
Omg yes toast a sammich with cheese awwwwww yeah ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Pls try the MINISTOP CHICKEN IT'S SOOO GOOODD😧
Ok!!!!
You should try to taste test filipino native delicacies or "kakanin" 🥰😊 I love watching your vlogs.
I’ve already tried a few but definitely have SO MUCH to try!!!
I hope you can tell us where we can send you some stuffs and goodies for you to try. 🥰
Omg Simona!! This is Gold!
Hahaha, I’m glad you like!! ❤️❤️
yyy
I miss the 7 eleven in the Philippines. At first I would only go there to buy load but after a while got into the variety they have. Now back in Sydney 7 Eleven here routine goes: Get petrol followed by either a day old dried sausage roll, almost expired KK donut, the only one pre packaged sandwich, $2 coffee because the slurpy/slushee machines are broken down.
😂😂😂😂 aw man, I have to check out the 7/11s in Brisbane. I hope they’re not as sad!!!
Currently rewatching this because I miss Simona’s videos. I just realized how tall she really is because whenever I buy at 7-11, I am at the same level with those glass cases for Mister Donut. 😂
cant wait for that simona mukbang channel
Hahaha you’re reading my mind! What do you think? Should I do one?
@@HungrySimona would love to see that happen, but honestly after the recent onslaught of food reviews you might as well rename to SimonaEats 😂😂
You should try the ministop food review because this is 7eleven's competents in the philippines and compare them which is the good one hahaha btw you are funny and cute 😅 also a good person inside and a beauty outside 😄❣
-your silent viewer
Thank you for the suggestion love!! And I appreciate the support!!! I’ll check out ministop! ❤️❤️
I hope someday 7/11 ph can compete to Taiwan ang Japan's 7/11s... With pinoy delicacies... Honestly the budget meals are just to fill your empty tummy, nothing special, well its cheap.. But I love 7/11,especially their City blend Hershey's...
Ube is purple yam...7-11 is for people on the go...please try local fruits...like duhat, sinegwelas, santol, rambutan, macopa, aratilis, kaimito, dalandan, chesa, indian mango, saging na saba... Also try banana q, isaw, adidas, kwek kwek, betamax, kikiam, squid balls...
Oohhh I LOOOVE all these recommendations!! I’ve already tried a few of them and they’re included in my videos, but you’ve also listed some new ones I haven’t tried! Thanks love!
simona have you tried the taho that the street vendors sell on foot?
I haven’t!!! But I’m getting a lot of recommendations to try it now after this video!! I’ll keep an eye out!
Siopao assados are sweet, try the bolabola version or the taipao version.
Ooh ok!! I’ve had another person recommend the bola bola! Apparently it’s good with egg???
@@HungrySimonaBolabola has meatballs and the other one has sausage n salted egg.
Enjoyed your vid. New subscriber here. Will be in Manila early August and will definitely stop by a 7/11 for a quick and cheap bite..
I’m sure the donuts messed up your pallet just a little. Purple yam is ube; never tried in taho before. Will be on my list. 😁
Welcome to the family love!! ❤️ donuts definitely affected my pallet, for sure.
Ok so now I know ube is purple yam! Thanks for letting me know! I hope you have an amazing time in Manila!
Ube and purple yam are the same thing. Ube is Filipino term while yam is English term. Americans usually call the purple potato purple yam though. Ube has two major varieties : the white and purple. For Cebuano speakers, purple veggies or fruits have descriptive word called ‘tapul’. Tapul is Cebuano for purple. So purple yam is ‘ubeng tapul’, purple sweet potato is kamoteng tapul, purple star apple is kaimitong tapul, purple banana is morado. Morado though is Spanish for purple.
Omg! Thank you for hitting me with that knowledge!!! That’s so cool! ❤️❤️❤️
I'm a 7-11 baby. Definitely gonna subscribe! 😁
welcome to the family love!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
@vlog #19 you've had a hard time pronouncing "siomai" then here the "siopao". Thanks for the laughs. Keep vlogging!
P. S. I've watched all your vlogs and repeats some of them when bored. You're so cool to hang out with for sure.
Looks good ☺
❤️
Do jollibee/mang-inasal mukbang 🍴
simona: lets get a more lady like bite
also simona: *I could eat like 5 of these*
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH
Stop paying such close attention to what I say!! 😂😂😂😂😂😂
😂😂
Hi Simona, I had enjoyed your good bites from 7/11. Donuts🥯🍩, same here....im a very big fan.
By the way, Im still wondering that you always mention from your food tasting that you love UBE, from all the videos I had watched, never seen that you have eaten/tasted the legit UBE dessert.
The ultimate "UBE HALAYA", you know as a matter of fact, Cavite, especially Tagaytay is one of the provinces that makes legit UBE HALAYA. You can also buy jar ube halaya in savemore/hypermarket. Jar Ube halaya is almost 70% acurate taste compared to home-made.
I really wish you can source that one day and enjoy it, and Ube fan like you deserves UBE HALAYA.
If u have time, pls visit "Good Shepherd - Bahay Pastulan in Tagaytay", and I promise you would fall in love even more to UBE.
Love u Simona, stay nice and pretty and enjoy Philippines. 😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘
And also as an added fact, UBE is a root crop that is the cousin of Taro Root.and Sweet Potato or Yam in other countries. There are 4 major colors of Sweet Potatoes, white (commom), yellow (sweetest), reddish (rare), purple (seasonal). Might get confuse UBE form the purple sweet potato. The distinct difference between the two is that UBE root crop grows and harvested bigger than the purple sweet potato, and the Ube skin is more rough and rooty compared to the smoother more clean- looking skin of purple sweet potato. But I think the market as a whole, locally and worldwide do label this as UBE.
thank you for explaining it to me in such detail!!!! I’ve tried ube halaya! A friend bought it for me! It’s SO good, but a little too strong flavour. I feel like I need to put it between white bread slices
@@HungrySimona yes halaya means jam/pudding, its supposed to be eaten with bread. Silang, Cavite found a way to subtle that strong flavor, they mixed it with grated cassava and voila!!! a fusion of two desserts in one.
Cheers and love Simona 🍻😍
Prettiest doughnut monster ✌️😂
Hahahaha love it
I like the ready to eat Bagoong (Green Mango with shrimp paste) granted they’re much cheaper on the street market
I’ve tried them a couple of times but only from the supermarket. The shrimp paste is hard for me to adapt to still!! Hahah, I didn’t grow up eating seafood so it’ll take a while to adjust 😂 BUT I love green mango with spicy sweet salt.
Try the bola bola siopao & ask for a chili con carne to use as sauce
Ok!!! I will!!!
If you really liked their donuts you should do a Mister Donut taste test!
Can you imagine the sugar rush I’d get 😂😂😂😂
J. Co is much better
Heyy the spicy asado is my favorite i do always buy that one 8.5 is a good score 😂
I’m totally craving it right now. I’m so hungry I’d give it a 10 😂😂😂
Making me hungry😂
Hahaha sorry!!!
Siopao is pronounced as Shaw (like the Irish poet's last name) and POW (the word sometimes comes out when Batman from the campy 60's series punches someone).
You can be an endorser of 7/11's donuts!! ❤
Hahaha I WISH!! I’d balloon so hard though!!
@@HungrySimona OMG! You replied to my comment 💗
They forgot to give you the manhattan something sauce for the hotdog and ketchup...😅

This makes me hungryyyy
Oh no!! 😂😂😂
Hi ate simona! 💜 NOTIF SQUAD 😍
Hi love!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
That's a lot of food you're munching and most of them are sweet! You need to do a lot of exercise to get rid of all that. LOL! I like my chicken nugget with Jufran or Del monte ketchup. I like the sourness of these ketchups which are made specifically for fried foods. Great vlog!
Hahah I know right?!!! And totally with you on the sourness! Makes eating fried food more manageable for me.
Thanks for the love!!
@@HungrySimona Just enjoy what you're doing! Big love!

Hahahaha
Yes healthy taste test please @simona
Hahaha you’re the only person who requested this!!! 😂😂😂
Man , what an appetite haha
Hahaha, too much I’d say
When your ketchup is half empty, put it upside down for a moment for its content to easily squeeze down. We do it quite often here lol
Hahah excellent advice! Thank you!
Your video made me hungry. So I went to my local 7/11. They had nothing like that here in California. Very frustrating.
The Aussie 7-11s are the same as the US ones I think. Can’t compete with Asia
@@HungrySimona I saw another RUclipsr do a Hawaiin 7/11 haul. Definitely similar to Asia's ones. 7/11 U.S and Aussie need to step up their game, we only have some snacks, hot dogs, nachos and slurpees
The chicken nuggets comes with a bbq sauce tho, you should ask for it next time :) Their nuggets are cheaper and better than McDonald's
I thought they would offer it if they had it :( aww next time though! I’ll ask!
2nd viewers and 1st comments have a great weekend guys!!👍😍💓😍💓😍💓👍!!....
Have an awesome weekend!!! ❤️❤️✊✊
20:50 Ube=purple yam I believe. I do know people tend to confuse ube with taro though for some reason.
Oh yes! I confuse yams with sweet potatoes... they’re not the same thing right? I mean I should Google but I’m already here typing to you hahaha ❤️
@@HungrySimona Ube = purple yam; taro = gabe or gabi; sweet potatoes = camote I hope that helps... ;)
