*Anand thinking *
*Rook starts sweating*
Golden comment 😂😂😂😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂😭😂
😂😂😂😂😂

Lmao
If it's Tal, it's a Queen sacrifice. If it's Anand, it's a rook sacrifice.
Haha so true.
If it's me , it's a king sacrifice.
@@Vs1234.
Ha ha! Super!😊
Y Anand is kinda student of tal here
@@Vs1234.
Hey Anish, you're great. I've been trying your King's Gambit for a long time now. Big fan
Anand:- *Deep calculation in the middlegame*
Rooks:- Ayo Bro, our time has come......
🤣😂😂😂😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣
My favorite player of all time. A gentle genius. The people's champ. They don't get any classier than Anand.
Mine too
Totally agree with you!
@@rheayadav-uwd3d hi

When i put a bishop in front of two pawns, it's probably because i didnt see the two pawns
That was really funny😂

Anand's chess career was sandwiched between probably the 2 best players ever - Kaspaov and Carlsen. Even then, to his credit, he became the world champion 5 times that too in multiple formats and really dominated for a few years..
Most of those 5 times were in the void between the Era of Kasparov and the Era of Carlsen. But I agree he's incredibly strong.
Well said bro
@@Cnut_the_grape i dont think so...Carlsen reached world no. 1 somewhere around 2008-2009 i reckon..and that was when Anand started winning world championships...although there was some controversy regarding Carlsen playing the Candidates around that time too but still..Anand really was superior to Carlsen in his glory days...it didnt last very long because obviously its Magnus...but still..Anand managed to win so many strong tournaments where he had to battle Kramnik, Topalov, Shirov , Gelfand , Short,Aronian..these were no easy opponents..those were world top 10 at that time...so he did really dominate for those few years. Absolute gem
@@harshrajbasant he reached no.1 around 2013 not 2009
@@themaster9601 i just checked wikipedia..it was in 2010..Anand and Carlsen competed for World no. 1 but by the end of 2010 it was Magnus who became World no. 1 and has since stayed there for almost all these years
At the age 52 he beats Magnus 2 times in blitz and he as good advantage in Classic but he missed that move and Magnus hold Vishy on draw in Norway Chess 2022. .. WOW... What a Genius he was in his prime time and now...
Mark the name Viswanathan Anand.
Anand is one of The Last Greatest Classic player who grew up without Chess Engines. Today's modern players remember moves from engines and copy paste in their games; Where as Anand create magic on the board..
Do you guys know that Anand was far ahead of his contemporaries in his native India. He surpassed the rest of the junior players in the country at a very early age and was already dominating the top adult players in his early teens. There was no one around that was strong enough to coach him. Nowadays, with computers and the internet, this is less important. But back in the 70s and 80s, that really made a difference. He was and even today so strong that he dominated the modern super Grandmasters who played as brilliant as the Engines with ease..
He is a super Grandmaster and former World Champion - he is Very very good at all aspects of chess. Generally he is Considered a strong tactical player but he’s so accurate that he plays positionally until his opponnets err.. He is modern version of Paul Murphy a super legend..
so true
Modern players don't copy paste from engines. They gain experience from the moves played by engines and apply in the real games. I agree Anand is an extraordinary player, but you can't just criticize the advantage which the modern ones have.
It's just a generational difference, and he has adapted well to it. No wonder he's #9 in the World and #1 in India.
@@unclepodger that too at his age
Werrrrrry true
Magnus : Rook are My Favorites
Anand : Time to say good bye my friend
I’m a big fan of Anand. I really like him!!! Love from Vietnam!!!

absolutly.... upvote guys
C'mon Ethan, Simon's top 5 moves obviously are h4, h5, h6, h7 and h8.
Yes plz
h4! h5!
Vishy is a genius and a remarkably consistent player. His patience, his creativity, and technique are inspiring. The community could have asked for no better a human being to represent us as the World Champion during his reign. His resurgence to win the World Rapid Championship in 2018 is proof he still has the ability to play at the highest level. Legend!

Anand and Federer are the finest player who have graced the game and the Role Model for the younger generations
Admit it, you never thought you'd hear:
"Blocking the rooks diagonal"
TheKyogre&Groudonshow just a mistake in what he said
You deserve a like.
@@teteeheeted I Know
sameer playnicals how so? By making a generic comment with a generic format?
L.O.L.!
Excuse me, where is his Immortal against Aronian?
Immortals are whole games. good moves there too
I actually thought that game was the no 1
the whole game was a combination of great moves...not just that ....there were multiple tactic in all the variation ..especially after be5 ...there are smothered mate in at least 2 different lines and after Nd5 ....it was just amazing how it all came together . Basically the one game has alteast top 3 moves (Be5 Nd5 F5)...so they would have decided not to go for long video
he also didnt include the famous win against sergey in nadjorf in wijk aan jee 2006 and the qd4 move against fabiano caruana
@@ashusadventures he used the tal principle : when your opponent has forked two of your pieces, offer a third one, your opponent can only take one of them
@@ashusadventures it shows his calculation skill in his prime were insane.... specially in the Sokolov game finding Nb5 after such a tactical variation and attack shows his works out every possibility ….his game would have more been like Fabiano's current play(even more deadlier) if engine would have been there during 90's and 2000's
the most understandable English speaker for a French speaker, thank you for speaking English properly!
Yall dont no nothing. Mericans speak english da best.

Simon might be the greatest chess commentator in terms of passion and well-spokennes. Sure, people like Agadmator and Eric Rosen are excellent, but Simon has that playful, enganging personality. I could understand what he meant back when I was only 900 rated on lichess, and hundreds of points later I'm only enjoying it more!
What's your rating now
@@overclockinggames2419 my rapid rating is at 1421 right now on Lichess, but I'm noticing I have to study more. I've stagnated a little bit so back to the drawing board
@@pipapandameuk amazing
What about Jerry in chessnetwork.
Agad a good commentator. ? He just yells out moves...captures captures...
For me, probably the greatest commentator is Daniel King.
Jerry, kingcrusher are all better than agad.
Agad works hard and appeals to beginner -intermediate players.
2:10 TIL rooks have diagonals
I am his compatriot. May be Carlsen and Kasparov has proven to be tougher than him to beat, Anand can sit back and proudly say that no other player has more fan following than him, simply because he was born in a country of more than a billion people and has been an inspiration to many to follow his path. Dont forget that he is the first grandmaster of India and now the country has crossed 64, and this man had played a tremendous single handed role in that. What a great player and proud of you !!!
Anand is certainly one of the most attacking champions Chess has ever seen. Nice to see that authenticated by other GMs as well. Good show sir. Love your channel. All the best
Wow, those were really great to see!! Simply amazing. Thank you for uploading this video!
you're the best Simon!
Ben finegold disagrees
@@hughmongusfeline3452 lmfao Benjamin is 20 kgs heavier than Simon so Simon wins
I’d have to say I made some great sacrifices too, including the one where I sacrificed my dignity.......
Lmao
lol
Yudhishthir moment
Looking at his moves .. i think how many practices it need to reach here . Thanks Anand for making India proud
Unpopular opinion: Vishy isn’t appreciated enough
when u say its an unpopular opinion, it automatically implies that he is quite appreciated, make sensible sentences next time
@@pkskyw I'm not a native speaker but this type of sentences are widely used and to my knowledge there is nothing wrong with the way the sentence was formed
by sensible i mean logically not grammatically learn to read the entire thing that i wrote
@@pkskyw so is anand someone who's appreciated very much by people outside of india?
@@jonesjoestar sure he is just because they dont speak a lot about him doesnt mean they dont appreciate him, he has been the world champion 5 times thats a big deal. I have heard a lot of GMs speak highly about him.
he forgot to include the Aronian one..
Amazing collection Sir, really enjoyed watching it
Anand is one of chess Legends
In the first example vs Lautier, the brilliancy began a move prior to the one you showed. Pawn to h6 was played by Anand and that's Anand's personal favorite move of his. The pawn was captured and then Anand played bishop to g6. But the most brilliant move of the whole sequence was pawn to h6.
I really liked that first example; because, sac'ing the Queen is so confident.
I have 20/20 eyesight whenever I don’t play chess
This is actually the most beautiful video for wonderfully fantastic fascinating tactics
This is not stuff .... These are masterpiece .....
Anand is a beast!!!
Great video dude
It's just amazing how many amazing moves he's had in his career.. but I feel you should have included the recent one again Nepo where he sacrificed bishop !
Only one word is enough for vishy sir you are proud of india we all loves you
The wait is over!!!!🔥🔥🔥
Thanks Simon✌🏻
Finally its here..was waiting for it for a long time. Thank you Simon.
An exceptionally brilliant player with a super exciting gameplay. Extremely honoured to have been his compatriot. Bravo!

Anand games sometimes reminds me of Tal. Bravo Anand! We all love you.
Been missing Simon and this series!
Finally... Comes what we need.
Beautifully, precisely, deadly.
How can one see such series of moves on the board?? Simply Magic!
Excellent one...
Been waiting for this...
I really enjoyed this one, because honestly I have a similar mindset when playing, just attack, attack and attack
At last...Anand's top 5😂👍
just amazing stuff! how does he even think all that?
What an amazing player 🙌
2:36 BISHOP g2: NO WAY HOME
The humble genius of Anand is our pride
Levon Aronian in 2013 game must have been included That game is a master piece
He’s the one who inspired me to get better
Anand is my favorite champion, I like studying his games and also admire him as a person.
The first one is just golden
So finally , Vishy !!!! 😇
i only started playing a year ago and something just dawned on me. top players aren't playing 'hope' chess. they're playing a pressure cooker style where they force opponent's moves. that's incredible. correct me if im wrong. this game has so many layers
If you want to improve even above 1200 rating hope chess doesn't work
Two kicks in the Bologans.
Nasty.
I was waiting for the video for the entirity of quarantine
This peak of Vishwanathan Anand is inspirational.
Next the 5 most amazing moves of
GM simon williams
You the ginger
It just blown my mind 😮
Anand’s games and moves are something else. He made chess interesting. They are just aesthetically different from other games or players. You see otherworldly. The best chess games occurred either in the 1500s or the early 2000s and late nineties. Today’s people are such tryhards and grind on d4 openings and heavy theory to get wins
I think the third piece hanging from Anand vs Aroninan game should have been featured
all moves are my favorite 🙌
Anish Giri's 5 Best Draws.

I loved the first match stuff i just love vishy everyone will get crazy why is he giving his queen and anand says u want my peices take it here's a checkmate for you i loved the first match and if possible can you tell the reaction times of the opponent 😂 it's just a request for fun even i want to know what time does gm or international player takes to think after thi move❤️
A god of chess in India , he was 2nd Grandmaster from India , now India have around 85 and still he is sitting on the crown , long live you legend
he was 1st grandmaster from india not 2nd
@@mohan9465 he was first yeah..and now 64
Is Nf5 needed at 10:15? If Kh6, Qh3+ anyway and f5 is guarded by the queen. If knight remains at d4 it blocks black queen from attacking g1
He is like a mixture of tal and fischer.
From Tamil Nadu, the best player.... (I also live in Tamil Nadu!)
Well even more beautiful in the first game is what Anand played just before Bg6. It is a pity you left it out!
finally you are on vishy
