Gotta say, the tough gaff combined with the tadpole tape cutter has been such a gamechanger for me. Makes the procress of say taping corners or garage door windows a million times easier and more fluid.

3M Hand Masker Tack Down Tape Dispenser TDTD is what i use. The addon for the handmasker. Using 4 Handmasker, 3 with the hook and one with the TDTD. The Tough Gaff seems to be helping get your tape fast but after removing it you have to peel and find the beginning. Over all a nice gadget. The perfect masking tape dispenser does sadly not exist for now. I like a straight cut at my tape not to pull a piece of with the fingers in some kind of situations. We need a tape dispenser with a knif to get straigt cuts to. Helps in corners and stuff. But Tough Gaff is great.

After I use the tape, I fold over a short section so it’s easy to know where the tape starts.

Back in the 80's and forward we put the tape on top of our 5/8-way when masking and didn't have "FROG TAPE". We managed and did hundreds of int./ext. Tolls can make the job easier but perfecting the craft is the real profit.
