I'm thinking about the absolute insanity of an "All-Item" Run. Like, really. The immediate question is whether its achievable in a single world or not. My mind went straight for the Dungeon and its 3 variant colors, but apparently they did add a way to convert between them (didn't realize the Extractinator got an upgrade, nice). The same can be done for all the Ores and Moss. However, the same cannot be said for their Furniture. Only the Chest, Sink, and Toilets can be crafted, all the others must be found. So that alone forces you into 3 worlds. And one of those 3 worlds have to be the Drunk World, because that's the only way to get the Moon Lord Legs and Red' potions. Other than that, there's also a few other rare/hard-locked items you'll need to get lucky with, like the naturally-spawning banners (Dungeon and Underworld notably), Lanterns (Dungeon has 7, it picks 3), the Terragrim, Pyramid Items, and the *freaking* Paintings. The paintings alone will probably require another dozen or two worlds. Really, good luck to Sparking if he really wants to do this, it sounds painful even with Tedit to quick-scan a world.
@@WandofSparking though that might be more of a pain, with the number of rare items that require more than 1 to research - like most of the food. though again, the enemy spawn slider may make up for that. you suppose you won't know until you try

loved this run for all the extra stuff-the cool build, the focus on maximizing luck, finding and showcasing so many cool aesthetic things like the kite, and of course the not so extra concept of learning all about the food and unique drops of monsters!
Would love to see something like this again! Maybe axes? Maybe vanity sets as a bigger project? Also small tip, if you save your cans of worms until lantern night, with gnome luck you can get a gold worm pretty quick. Same with oysters for pink pearl, and then ez luck increase
my family uses hellofresh, and i would say the best part of the subscription is that they send you a recipe page with each bag, so you can keep the recipes even if you stop your subscription (the dishes themselves are really good, although they do tend to be a bit heavy on the salt)
An all items run? Welcome to each and every one of my journey mode playthroughs! You'll get to meet such characters as 8 lucky horseshoes and old one's army banners!
Every weapon, envy (bosses would envy his collection). Every item, greed (greedy people think they own the world) Every banner, pride (the time it would take would make him feel proud of himself) Every furniture, sloth (why does Terraria have so many chairs, beds and couches?)
what a fun challenge, i did not know there were that many food items in terraria. how about you try getting every pet! you could include or exclude master mode boss pets depending on how you're feeling.
presents and goodie bags can appear as a rare drop all year round once certain criteria are met so no actual clock switching is needed except to obtain santa anymore, since the frost legion still works any time of year providing you have the summon item.
an all item run would be hell because of the fact that there is a single specific statue that can only spawn in master mode worlds, meaning you can't do it in journey mode D:
A fun challenge would be collecting all the developer vanity sets, I'm actually doing that right now. I've killed over 200 Golems and I'm still only about halfway done 😅
You should collect all the armor sets next run and then put them on display! Armor includes practical sets and vanity items like the halloween costumes, etc
I tried to do an all research run awhile back, but gave up pretty quickly after learning about Golden Sea Horses. If you try an all items terraria run, I wish you luck
All items will take multiple worlds due to Ocram's Razor/Waffle's Iron being mutually exclusive with the Clentaminator/Terraformer. Perhaps for the next collectathon you could do all pets (normal, normal and light, or perhaps even both plus mounts)? It would introduce two new important points of -pain- _difficulty_ to keep in mind for all items: Master Mode (for the 25% chance boss drops) and killing a Dungeon Guardian (for the Bone Key).
Oh my gosh. Nothing has gotten me more excited then the words [eventually work towards an all item run]. There are so many items in Terraria. I can't imagine the nightmare that will be. I'm so excited.
fun run, I enjoyed watching it! As for a suggestion of what to collect next: how about statues? That's definitely something you'd want to do a trial run of before going for all items.
Im pretty sure you can also set the world to the Christmas event by beating the frost moon. It only lasts for 7 in game days if i remember right as well though.
50:31 -banners- I think a liquid items run might be cool, aka all dyes, paints, coatings, potions, and flasks. Individually I think they might be not too interesting but together i think it would be pretty entertaining with some surprising things to learn

I was recently digging through my world to prevent biome spread. I didn't even realize at first that I was standing right next to him for a full minute!
im currently working on 100%ing a journey mode character, and i somehow found waldo without even looking for him
the real nightmare is gold critters
I think there is some loot that would need multiple worlds (like pyramid chests probably, and biome chests)
@@3clipse449 You can fish for pyramid loot, and I think the other evil's biome chest can be obtained too but I might be imagining that
14:05 ah yes the perfect upgrade items
the heart one, the mana one and *50 protein bars*
If you do an all items run, I would recommend journey mode just so you can say you have a true 100% journey character/world. Nobody on RUclips’s done that yet to my knowledge
fastest response huh
that would be interesting, but also it would mean getting multiple of several items. i don’t know which are the most tedious in terms of grind to research requirement ratio but hey, not on me
@@endernightblade1958 all the foods require at least 3 iirc, so there’s that, but it would also make getting all the craftables and ESPECIALLY consumable drops (e.g crates, gifts, treat bags) a hell of a lot easier. There’s also the spawn rate x10 but that feels like a bit much at that point
lol ive been working on this, i have 56 hours on my character and am only at 75% completion
i feel like its more on brand for this channel to do it in normal mode instead of journey though
dunno if he posted about it on youtube but beaverrac was doing this on his twitch some time ago
i just want to say, the fact that you put every song you use in the description with links and timestamps is so nice, i love you so much for that. literally the best person on this platform
Absolutely love the music you used, literally watching it again to find all the songs so I can play them on loop.
Statue enemies actually do drop every item that the original enemy drops, just with heavily reduced odds, one of the only exceptions to this being mimics ofc
I got 10 diving helmets from sharks which are 5%, and no 2% food drops, plus none from 1000 crabs. I assumed it just wasn't possible, but maybe I could try some more at some point.
@@WandofSparking Sounds like a myth that needs busting.
according to the wiki, statue enemies are unable to drop food including bacon from pigrons, as well as bloody tears from the blood moon enemies
@@Ataraxia0 I swear it’s worked for me before, but maybe they either changed it or I’m just imagining things
41:10 i'd definitely recommend carrying around a shadow candle in playthroughs like this
Shadow candle stops towns from blocking spawn rates, which I don't need, but I did have water candles at all the farms.
Great vid! The sponsor is definitely the most fitting one I've seen. I think an all accessory run could be an interesting watch for a future challenge
I love your videos so much. All the effort you put in is just amazing. Thank you for making these
Congrats on the sponsorship 💪
How about all minecarts? There are crafted, boss drops, bestiary completion, angler quests, so you'll have some variety.
Ooh, seconding this idea! Carts are all over the place, and there's a ton that I bet most people have no idea about!
Could be an interesting run. There's a post-Moon Lord one which means it would be the entire game, but definitely good variety in there.
Fun fact I actually made a “dining hall” in my world and tried to collect as many food items as possible. Been there, done that (didn’t get EVERY one yet tho)
loved this run for all the extra stuff-the cool build, the focus on maximizing luck, finding and showcasing so many cool aesthetic things like the kite, and of course the not so extra concept of learning all about the food and unique drops of monsters!
This should be a speedrun category
FR I JUST THOUGHT OF THAT (something like EAT%)
Gourmet Race
now get every b̶a̶n̶n̶e̶r̶ weapon
the banner grind is bringing back war flashbacks
Ehhh...every armour set is better, cos of the mannequin display at the end!
banner weapon?
whats this, genshin impact?!
only the flying weapons of the underground are needed to get
Getting every item would actually be insane with all the developer armors being super rare
I'd probably do it in Journey Mode, and then we could just open a ton of duped treasure bags for that part.
Id love to see a Thorium mod series, loved the video as always!!
Would love to see something like this again! Maybe axes? Maybe vanity sets as a bigger project?
Also small tip, if you save your cans of worms until lantern night, with gnome luck you can get a gold worm pretty quick. Same with oysters for pink pearl, and then ez luck increase
Just when my day was starting to get a little boring. Such excite
my family uses hellofresh, and i would say the best part of the subscription is that they send you a recipe page with each bag, so you can keep the recipes even if you stop your subscription (the dishes themselves are really good, although they do tend to be a bit heavy on the salt)
An all items run? Welcome to each and every one of my journey mode playthroughs! You'll get to meet such characters as 8 lucky horseshoes and old one's army banners!
Next on WoS:
How long does it take to 100% beastiary?
World name: Wrath
Bold of you to assume that's not Lust
@@jairomenares2089 No, that'll be 'How long does it take to get every NPC'
Every weapon, envy (bosses would envy his collection).
Every item, greed (greedy people think they own the world)
Every banner, pride (the time it would take would make him feel proud of himself)
Every furniture, sloth (why does Terraria have so many chairs, beds and couches?)
@@markokostelac7282 There, now we have all the SDS. Now let's get WoS to actually make videos on them
@@meedrowh1809 the set is complete, now he just has to do this.
what a fun challenge, i did not know there were that many food items in terraria. how about you try getting every pet! you could include or exclude master mode boss pets depending on how you're feeling.
Maybe you could try and speedwalk collecting every "summoned" creature (summons, sentries, & pets) next?
presents and goodie bags can appear as a rare drop all year round once certain criteria are met so no actual clock switching is needed except to obtain santa anymore, since the frost legion still works any time of year providing you have the summon item.
I love that you're doing these types of videos with Terraria as well now! I'd like to see more in the future.
Love the video! I would love to see all the -banners- mounts/pets/summons next. Basically get all the friends.
an all item run would be hell because of the fact that there is a single specific statue that can only spawn in master mode worlds, meaning you can't do it in journey mode D:
Which statue?
I can’t wait for the all items run
Now I have something to sink this hour into 😊
Maybe next do fishing rods and bait, maybe even fish too
how about all music boxes?
maybe statues? paintings? any of these could be interesting
As someone that almost never uses Food items, this was a great watch and i hope to see more like it in the future!
A fun challenge would be collecting all the developer vanity sets, I'm actually doing that right now. I've killed over 200 Golems and I'm still only about halfway done 😅
Next run should be called Lust where you speedrun romancing all 12 Stardew candidates
The traveling merchant is basically the garbage cans at this point
You should collect all the armor sets next run and then put them on display! Armor includes practical sets and vanity items like the halloween costumes, etc
can i say I was so inspired by this i'm doing my own run collecting all the weapons in the game. Genuinely love your stuff!
18:30 You can actually get bones early by shimmering pianos found in underground houses.
I actually thought of getting all the items. I think the worst is either way getting all the rare critters or banners
Oh my gosh. Nothing has gotten me more excited then the words [eventually work towards an all item run]. There are so many items in Terraria. I can't imagine the nightmare that will be. I'm so excited.
An all items run would be amazing, its a crazy grind but would be so cool to actually see done
I always love how you link the music in the description. Just a small thing that means a lot to me 🙂
Every summoner weapon. Everything that does summon damage.
It would be interesting to see a weapons category run. All bows, all swords, all guns, etc. Thanks for another great video!
I think "we will need to do some strategic murdering this run" is my new favorite Canadien quote
fun run, I enjoyed watching it!
As for a suggestion of what to collect next: how about statues? That's definitely something you'd want to do a trial run of before going for all items.
Im pretty sure you can also set the world to the Christmas event by beating the frost moon. It only lasts for 7 in game days if i remember right as well though.
its only one day. works for halloween moon too
only until next sunrise, so not even 7 days
@@jonasgajdosikas1125 huh I swear the time was longer than that for me when I did pumpkin moon. Oh well.
All the pets! It’s a decent challenge but more doable then like, banners
Collecting weapons might be interesting, and let you try out some of the rarer ones
50:31 -banners- I think a liquid items run might be cool, aka all dyes, paints, coatings, potions, and flasks. Individually I think they might be not too interesting but together i think it would be pretty entertaining with some surprising things to learn
subtle reference how the video opens with music from Bowser's inside story, a game notorious for its themes of feeding, vore, and inflation
You should do a video about getting every pet! That would be interesting for sure! Either that or every toilet im not picky
you can break the branches of a tree it also gives food sometimes. Useful for the all items run.
Edit: branches with leaves
What about getting every form of teleportation? (pylons, phones, rod of discord, teleporters, etc)
Man, you know this is just leading into an inevitable all items run someday...
Would love to see this for all weapons. Terraria has so many obscure weapons that never get used.
