It's such an obvious cover-up. How can they be so brazen and arrogant to perpetrate such an obvious cover-up right out in the open, right in front of our eyes? The US is becoming more and more corrupt every day. If we tolerate this corruption, it will keep getting worse and worse because they will know they can get away with it.

    Well done Lawrence! 👏
As a recently retired Federal Executive Administrative Scheduled employee I can attest that it is a well known protocol that ALL official records are mandated to be retained based on the classification level of the records. We were regularly audited by internal and external auditors for compliance.
So yeah, this was not incompetency but is malicious intent of a cover-up. So at a minimum the director and the connected agents who had a hand in the cover-up should be jailed as an example. A new director should be appointed to clean house to rid the agency of all the bad actors. I had lost all confidence in the Secret Service to do it's jobs effectively and objectively.

He is "old school" in being a concise and clear speaker, Like the '60's--'70's Huntley and Brinkley. He differs in that he's not giving news headlines, but laying out some facts. As always ( but not apparent in old school broadcasters) it is a the facts that he chooses to bring up that showed his liberalism . It's a , say, limited "bias" ; weakened as he builds a case based on truth . That's fine by me . Conservative media creates scenarios that get people high by raising blood pressure. Crisis made by liberals , reported and created (but "what if") by conservative media.

I was a migration specialist for many years. Heres the difference between backup, migration and factory reset ...
    Migration
    • Migration ONLY occurs when the data is moving from one device to another.
    • A backup is taken pre-migration
    • Migration is completed
    • Migration is checked
    • Backup is retained for several months and then deleted
    Backup
    • Either part of a migration process
    • Or when no migration is needed (such as user left)
    Factory Reset
    • If the phone must be erased and fully reset. (Examples are password lock, and user gone)
    • Only done after the device is not needed or after backup/migration completed
None of this is accidental! People should be charged and fired.

@@jimmyrecard5056 that would not be right nor would it be beneficial to the country. However, the way it is now is not democratic or fair because no one listens to the people and the politicians go along with party. Why can’t those politicians in those smaller states fight for their states which they do not do as of now. The politicians need to work for the people they represent. I do not believe that as u mentioned will be a bigger concern as u nay expect. Because the senators and politicians of whatever state needs to work for those people instead of special interest groups that feed their United pockets. Not to say that special interest groups will not still be a problem but it would only be according to that state and not country wide. The corruption as it is with the parties is beyond ridiculous and obvious. Yet we fight over party and this is not the issue. I only know what I would like to see the country become. I want as much fairness and equality as possible. How that is achieved can be done quicker as easier if politicians voted into office work for their state. No person (at least on Utube) has even expressed what they want as a republican or a democrat. They just complain about what they don’t like or disagree about how justice is served and who receives that justice. I do not exclude myself in being guilty if the same. It has to be a better way of this chaos being lessened and the only thing I can think of is one vote one person. In all elections. Local as well as state and country. Politicians have to be made to work for the people of their state and not themselves. Do u know of any other way to accomplish this goal so that the buddy buddy system can be eliminated and they stop playing political games with our lives while becoming filthy rich. Because as it stands now this is just the beginning of total chaos and destruction of the entire country and maybe many others as well. I was a Federal Records Manager at the VA for many years. Issue 1) Those text messages DO exist. Not only are they backed up daily, they are backed up again monthly. They are not old enough to have aged out. They are in a cloud somewhere. They are being suppressed and could be retrieved if they truly wanted them to be obtained. 2) Not only do federal employees receive training annually, but in this instance, they received additional reminders. They do NOT require specific dates. However, the employees didn't do the wipe-out of the phones, the IT Department under the command of the Chief Information Officer would have done it. The employees would have been required to just hand over their phones and been issued a new one if they were swapping them out. This happened at the Department Chief level. That's where the blame lies.

Like--I just saw ten videos of Ray Epps commiting actual sedition crimes on January 6, yet he was never charged with anything, and people in the crowd were chatting "fed fed fed" at him as Epps told them to "go into the Capitol". I realize that the NYTimes has decided that the theory that Epps is a Fed agent provocateur is a conspiracy theory, but at least there is some engaging evidence to back that theory up. O'Donnell's low IQ theory has no evidence. But I'm sure the NYTimes won't question it.

This is a freaking *BRILLIANT breakdown* of the deleted Secret Service texts, the related issues, and all of the nuances involved.
Let me be perfectly clear: The context involved elevates the situation beyond mere violation of some dusty archival law to *aggregated treason* and *aggregated seditious conspiracy* against the United States of America - if such enhanced charges can exist due to lives lost as a result of the insurrection and related crimes surrounding Jan 6th. If they did not believe lives would be lost before January 6th, they absolutely knew lives had been lost afterwards - and they committed these crimes with full knowledge that they were covering up critical evidence of felony crimes which had resulted in loss of life. This is just like aggravated burglary or aggrevated bank robbery. I.E. if someone dies during the commission of a felony, even the getaway driver can be charged with that murder and the aggravated bank robbery.
Therefore, the DOJ and the DHS IG need to be leaping into the most aggressively intense and rapid investigation of *everything* mentioned in the amazing piece of journalism and any additional related matters that investigation uncovers. By this I mean executing immediate search warrants, seizures of possible evidence in offices and in homes, detaining individuals who are obvious suspects involved for the express purposes of conducting the most intense sort of interrogations if those individuals.
This is just as urgent as any murder or assassination investigation.
And yes, after they are questioned and released, a subpoena should be sitting there waiting for them to testify before the January 6th Committee.
