My town takes the same stuff yours does, lol...in any bag. I'm in VA...i didn't look back very far to see if anyone else mentioned this...my Wal-Mart takes the plastic bags. The receptacle is only at the entrance where the food is...worth a try there...
I need recycling for all plastics, not just plastic bags. Pretty sure only hannaford does it in my town.
Love watching you shop!!! I get rock salt at Dollar General. It’s a decent price and they seldom low on inventory.
We too have many rules about our rubbish and recycling in Australia. We dont have free.plastic bags at all in any shops. So when you go shopping you have to take your own or buy there reusable ones. I have made a mountain of bags from old pillowslips. Strong and washable. Cheap at thrift shops. Love your videos

I have the hardest time throwing calenders out.It makes me sick to do it ,,crazy i know but i have to keep them.
Darlene you should Check out ocean state job lots in Sanford.. if you ever need spices.. almost every spice/sprinkle/jimmies you could think of is there and they’re almost all a $1.00 for large containers
Not into spices. And I never cared for that store. I might try just so I can record in a different store. But I find them expensive. A lot of the stuff is the same that I can get a dollar tree for a buck.

What do you use a double sided chrochet hook for?
I actually had one but can't find it. I must do a video with that as soon as I get another one. You can do cool things by twisting the yarn but then you just slide your hook because there is another hook at the end. No need to remove your hook and insert it again. Hard to explain.
@darlene.michaud I kinda get it....but yeah, I'd love to see a video on it from you. I've been crocheting 23 years and never seen/heard of a double-ended hook....I have tunisian hooks.
The bread here in Virginia is 89 cents and I love imitation crab meat.. And thanks to you I now freeze everything except for cereal 😂

I don’t get pudding in the UK I’d love to try it
I have the double ended crochet hooks. When I use them, I put one skein of yarn on my left and one on my right. Helps to keep the yarn from getting tangled. I just flip the hook around at the end of the row. There is the crochetnit-bedspread technique, where you just work a few stitches at a time with one end of the hook and then work the other end. You could have a hook only 6 inches long and work on a foundation chain of 300 stitches. I do not like doing Tunisian crochet. But, I love doing crochet on the double or crochetnit. I find it easier to do.
I absolutely want that! lol I didn't know you could do that much with them. I just wanted one to twist some stitches. I'll be looking up ways to use one. So excited!
