I just found your channel, good stuff. I love Breakout Normandy and have not played it in a while. It may be time to break it out again. I am going to watch your Normandy 44 videos now . I just got the game in the last GMT sale. Keep up the good work.
Hello JnJ! Thanks for the kind words; always appreciated! You will like N44, it’s one of my favorite operational level games, and of course the topic can’t be beat. Enjoy, and Merry Christmas! -Paul
At 40:45, you calculated the German defense of Utah at 3 points (TEM of 1 + 2 for fortifications). But you should have added the defending unit as well for a total of 4 points, right?
Keep these videos coming! Don't the red and/or green marker rub off on the chits is you happen to push one across the marks you have made? Looks more complex than Storm over Arnhem.
Yes, I think this one is deceptively complex. But it works once you get through a couple games. I did not find that the colors caused problems with the counters - just be sure you use dry erase! The “risk” is well worth decluttering the board, I think.
Nice walk through, but I’m not sold. I have this game, but I don’t play it anymore. Decision games “D Day At Omaha” puts all Normandy themed games to shame.
Love your replays! Hate - really hate - that endlessly repetitive music you've cluttered your videos with; it's like Japanese torture.PLEASE get rid of it.
OMG. Edna, hide the bamboo!! Since I began my RUclips adventure, I have cut both the duration and volume of the music by over half, and if you look at my latest offerings, I have separated the music into an intro where I do not speak at all. Anyway, I'm back after about a year off so I am rethinking everything. Take a look at the "Fire in the Sky" videos I have recently uploaded. Let me know what you think about the intro. Thanks Jon. These are games; let's have some fun. -- Paul

Great video. Thanks for producing this! One note. The German first impulse moves would have been subject to air interdiction in clear weather.
Thx for the video, hope you reconsider doing a full solo playthrough
+1 on doing a solo playthrough!!
Great review. Thanks for doing this.

No. The defending unit was spent, and on its spent side has a defense of 0, so nothing more to add to the defense points.
Nice solution for the counter clutter. Did you know that you can find the trailing credits for TLD on RUclips?
I did not know that. I can fact-check myself! P

Wet cool map - good looking game.
Wet?
