There was nothing like this tv show when it was first aired! I remember telling my friends about it the day after the first episode and they thought I was making it up or off my head !!! But then they saw the second episode and it became a regular thing for us to talk about the show all week and quote lines from the show !!! A true original and the only other tv experience I could relate to it was twin peaks even though they were very different ! But they were both aired in the uk by bbc 2 !!!!

    Absolutely fantastic performance.
For me, Bernice and the morbid obesity scene was the biggest laugh.
    Reece is just brilliantly funny.

Here is your acting masterclass: minimal props, no set or costume changes to speak of, but a myriad of compelling, memorable and different characters created for a brief scene each. Admittedly the audience would have already known these characters, but this is still a useful study for any actor.

The first half was a tribute to how the league of gentlemen started as a stage show that they performed in suits with bow ties

Incredible. I always want more League but the S4 episodes ended things so well, despite the following tour continuing the story. I'd love at least one more tour if they aren't willing to make another series.

It absolutely DID change everything, for all of the Western world, and the UK especially. Are you blind? We are the most surveilled state on the planet as a result of legislation brought in under the guise of counter-terrorism. GCHQ reads every text you send and every call you make. The websites you visit are scrutinised, your amazon purchases are tracked, and you can be arrested for a tweet. Despite all this domestic spying, attacks have still happened. Privacy has been eliminated under the pretense of catching boogeymen. All of this can be traced back to the response to 9/11. Pay attention. @@ellen6831
