Y’all made that way too hard!!! I raise mine up with the deer skinning rack and just bust the blades off. Love the Channel.
This model of mower requires the blades to be torqued down to 65. The way that it’s designed you can’t put it on Tractor forklift or jacket up in anyway because of the way the blades are this model is different than other models. The entire deck had to come off in order to do it properly and safely, our cub cadet we jack up change the blades take them off whatever no problem. This one has to be done differently.
If that’s true, then they won’t sell many, way to difficult for a job that requires doing often. Would be a very poor design
Great job !! No one lost a finger and that is a good day !!! You all work great together!!! Please be careful and God bless !!!!!! Eddy
Frankie has become such an amazing young lady, she's definitely not afraid to her hands dirt at all❤️ Love your videos
Frankie is such a big help out there and so beautiful!! I will give a couple hints on those mowers, blades are normally marked"grass side" and only undo the rear pulley of the belt and leave belt on deck no need to take off all the covers on the deck for pullies!! You should be able to change blades in 5-10 minutes
LOVE# watching Frankie helping and working with you both!!!
A floor jack will lift it high enough to change blades. Now you know how to remove the deck. Great job.
Mike it will make your job go a lot better if you will get a 4 1/2 9nch grinder and a flap disc to sharpen your mower blades. Frankie doing a great job.
Frankie this message is for you [show dad up] RUclips [Toro Time-cutter Riding Mower Blade Change Quick & Easy! No More Rough Cutting!!] Show dad how clever you are.
I don't make RUclips videos so it doesn't take me that much labor and time for something as simple as changing lawnmower blades 😅
But it is worth watching Mike and Frankie doing things together , very special 👍
It didn’t take them that long to do .
NICE JOB! A 3 Mississippi family project! Everyone involved! Teamwork makes the Dream Work! ❤❤
Next time you have to get that deck spring in place get a piece of small diameter rope like Paracord and easy to pull and attach the toro deck spring. Have a good one!
❤ Good job Franklyn and Mike.
Frankie is the sharpest tool in the shed! ! ! 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍🇺🇸🇺🇸🐶🐶🐶❤️❤️❤️🤠
Finished project looking good
I love that Frankie is becoming self sufficient. She will be able to not only survive but fix what needs to be done on her own... 👍
💯
I love seeing Frankie and mike working together all the time reminds me of me and my daughter now I have 2 grandsons to work in the shop with me tell Mike to charrish every minute of it because it is gone before you know it
💯
Good learning curve for Frankie... She should start a RUclips channel fixing her square body. With Dad.
She prefers shorter formats so she has FrankieFixIt7 on TikTok
It's a round fender...68 to 72 is round fender 73 to 87 is square body.
Back in business as they say! Great job guys!
Thank you 🙏
set of car ramps work great on the front wheels!
Rear wheels
Exceptionally good kid.🤗
Thank you 🙏
Good job Girl and oh yeah dad lol
Put the grapple on the tractor and use a couple of slings and pick it on up. You can get to the blades without taking the deck off. The use of a impact makes easy work of it.
Actually, you can’t. We can do that just fine with our other riding lawnmower and that is how we work on it by jacking it up. This one is a brand new model and the way that it’s built you can’t just hoist it or jack it up I explained it in detail in another comment.
Helpful tip. 30 minute job if you just lift the front end with a hoist or drive on ramps. So easy. No need in dropping the deck and taking off blades. Been doing it like that for 8 years on my zero turn. Lickety split.
One thing that would have made that all perfect is if you had Lainey Wilson's song" Things a man ought a know" playing in the background .LOL. Great job Frankie.
She is definitely learning important skills
Just use a hoist lift up the front end
Nice job,shop is looking good
Thank you 🙏
Hi guys😁 yes...great teamwork! Working like a champ👍 the shop is coming along nicely. Great job guys😁👍🍺
I use a chain hoist to lift the front of the mower, support it with jack stands and lay down and R & R the blades after sharpening them. Yes they can be sharpened, you just have to learn how to do it. Practice practice practice.
wow;;;what a crew;;;now you know what to do when spindles need to be repaired;;;I replaced bearings in mine several times;;;our mowers run 6 days a week with mowing contracts for medians and right of ways;;;and schools;;;we always hoisted the mower up by front end and took off blades and replaced with new or sharpened;;;the ones that came off were sharpened later to be used again;;;;;that way there was little down time;;;;teamwork gets it done;;;like it when there is lots more action and less talking;;;;thumbs up and yall gonna miss that Frankie when she off to college and married;;;;;lol;;;;
Nice job! It’s useful to know how to remove the deck. Eventually the spindles will need to be rebuilt. Great toys to learn on!
Good job guys! Ya may have already seen and know but @Chickanic is an awesome resource for tips and tricks on anything small engine, from generators to big riders, if ya come across a difficult problem she just might have a video about it. If not, you can ask her to do one, she tries to read all her comments. Big channel, knows her stuff and quite comical through much of it.
I used to change blades like this and then I got smarter. Used the tractor front loader to pick the whole machine up from the front. Then use an impact wrench to remove the bolts and replace them. You don;t need blocking lumber with an impact wrench. It is really fast.
Here a hint for that heavy spring… Use a rope, you can pull and direct it to where you want…

In this video I show In detail how to change the blades quickly and easily in a Toro timecutter riding lawnmower. The blades that were removed were from the factory. They were shot! It had the mower vibrating and making terrible noises when engaged. Now it cuts as smooth as butter and drives great!
Great job, Mike and Frankie 💪❤❤
Mike, if all you're doing is sharpening the blades, raise the mower with some straps on the front. Raise it up with the bucket on your tractor take the blades off sharpen and put them back on no need to remove the deck. My motto works smarter, not harder. Also sharpening your blades with a 4 1/2. Inch hand grinder with a wheel works out really nice.
Mike that was a 4 1/2 inch grinder!!
Hopefully greased the spindles while it was getting new blades. Great mower if you keep up on maintenance.
You go Frankie show your dad how to do the job girl
💯
Hold the blade in a vise and sharpen with a side grinder works much better.
Mike, do yourself and Frankie a favor and buy a tool called the JUNGLE JACK, that way you don’t have to remove the deck and belt and all that nonsense, just hook the jack under the front of the deck and cam it back, swap your blades and you’re done in about 10 minutes total
Great work guys, awesome educational video 🙏
Put some anti seize on the blade bolts and they will be easier to remove next time
Just amazing!
If you want to do just the blades, just drive the front of the mower up on car ramps
Hello Mike syd an Frankie 👋
It'll usually run just fine with blades flipped. Just won't cut very good 😅 I wouldn't know about that at all...🙃
😂
Frankie's an antique panhandler, with cost of living adjustment now they want washingtons and lincolns.
😂
You’re so pretty!! Hubby is a good looking guy and Frankie…. Well She’s the cutest!! I too have a Frankie. Love your channel. God bless!
Thank you 🙏
Great job you disassembled the blade carrier on your mower, but do you know for a fact that the brand new blades are perfectly balanced? Somehow I really don't think they are, and you could have sharpened the other blades and not worried about whether they're balanced perfectly or not , guys and lawn mower services have been sharpening their own lawn mower blades for many many many many many many years, I'm more than 60 years old and I remember whenever I was a kid and lawn mower people were sharpening their own blades, never seem to mess up the mower itself , but I guess it's kind of good to make sure that you got an extra set of blades where you can just change them out whenever the other blades get dull at the end of it mowing season , so good job fixing the Toro , Toro Toro as they say
easier if you jack up the front of the tractor
Get a MowJack. Put the front wheels on it then jack it up.
We didn’t have one .
You have a tractor with a front loader
All you need to do is left the mower by front tire about two feet
Why did you take the belts off of the mower deck when you don't need to
If would have been less bs if you would have just jacked it up from the front the proper way to do it
Google it.
