Love all Your videos, Some are funnier than others but to me they all have been awesome. Frankie does add some humor to the videos. But the way you all do so many different things. The way you've raised her contributed to the way she behaves now. You all are a Blessing to us. God bless You and Your Family.
Good afternoon Syd 🤗 nice you can make elderberry juice 👌 the shop is moving right along- like the banter between Mike & Frankie when working together 😉
Happy friday, syd😁 always enjoy a kitchen video no matter what your making😁👍 shop looks great so far, always need a home for your tools and supplies. Great vid, syd thank you😁👍🍺
I always add fresh organic lemon slices and occasionally orange slices to mine to boil. Then just before I bottle it I had Theives , lemon, rosemary, oregano, and any other essential oils to it. Just remember to shake it good before you take it
I read that the green elderberry remain poisonous even if cooked. We always pick the green ones out. We didn’t get very many this year the birds wiped us out lol
The birds were getting my muscadines. I put rubber snakes in the vines. It worked great. Just don’t forget about them and give yourself a heart attack.
Just because you never heard of it doesn’t mean it’s not true. That is the main reason why you cook the juice and not just juice, the berries and drink it. Google is free : es, raw elderberries are toxic and can cause nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea. This is because they contain toxic substances like sambunigrin, which are eliminated by cooking. Consuming large amounts of the toxin can cause serious illness.
Before you spew stupid comments out your mouth you should go google what you don’t know. Let me help you out, the first thing that pops up is Elderberries are TOXIC!!
dont be plucking berries off your bush. Yikes. I swear I heard "dont eat f ing berries off your bush". HAHA thought ya had a potty mouth. Either one would be good advise though. Loved the vid! New subscriber now!

Thank you 🙏
Hi syd great progress on the build
I've never tried it! Cool!
I always add fresh organic lemon slices and occasionally orange slices to mine to boil. Then just before I bottle it I had Theives , lemon, rosemary, oregano, and any other essential oils to it. Just remember to shake it good before you take it
Measuring with your heart tells me you are chef and not a cook 👍🏻🤩
😂 yes 🙌🏼
I really like how Mike organizes his tools…I’m about the same with many of my hand tools being older but well maintained 👍🏻🤩😀
Done of those were my dad’s ❤️. I can’t wait till it’s all finished .
@@3MISSISSIPPI I understand the sentimental value and that history deserves it’s own place…I save a lot of old tools from thrift stores near me 👍🏻
wow and zamzam water
That is a really nice huge cast iron pot 👍🏻🤩
It’s not cast iron but it is a great pot 😊
@@3MISSISSIPPI I’m sure it will be handed down to cook for future generations who can look back at videos from their grandma and smile👍🏻🤩😀
Nice video ❤️ 👍 🙋♂️ 😊
I read that the green elderberry remain poisonous even if cooked.
We always pick the green ones out. We didn’t get very many this year the birds wiped us out lol
The green ones cook out just the same so it’s safe 😊
👍
I have eaten tons of them raw never gotten sick from it.
You can get sick from them not everybody has the same reaction to the toxin in them and quantity probably plays a role in this as well.
@@3MISSISSIPPI yes but if they were that toxic the birds would not eat them let alone the coons and opossums.
@@3MISSISSIPPI yes there is some toxins in them but there's toxins in apples and other fruits that if you consume too much will make you sick.
I can't believe Mike didn't film the work!
I know … I was bummed but he just wanted to get it done I guess 😂
You sure know how to video cooking…Used to be a food videographer and you sure have a Martha Stewart look to your cooking 👍🏻☝🏻😁
Oh thanks ! Thats a big compliment!
If you sell any elderberry syrup, save me a jar!
The birds were getting my muscadines. I put rubber snakes in the vines. It worked great. Just don’t forget about them and give yourself a heart attack.
Oh that’s a great idea !
Kinda sound like you need a slug of that before you put it in the fridge!
I’m not sick 🙃 that’s just how I sound 😂
You definitely are nuts who told you they were toxic I have never heard that.
Just because you never heard of it doesn’t mean it’s not true.

😂 yikes not exactly what I said ….
If they are that toxic there would be dead birds all over the place.
No, as I said, it doesn’t seem to affect birds and some other animals, but it is toxic to humans.
If it was toxic it would kill them.
Grapes are toxic to dogs but we eat them . Different creatures can eat different things .
