Now I understand why you took big loop of trails. After adding Mt. Whitney to Rae lake and portion from purple lake to Yosemite, you guys are close to finish all JMT sessions, Nicely done! I bet golden trout +ginger tastes good : )
Three more sections to go. Next year however we hope to do something a bit different. I am working on a documentary on the Brewer expedition of 1864. We plan to hike the same route they took as first explorers of what is now Sequoia NP and discovered Mt Whitney.
@@richardcliff3510 Looking forwards to this documentary. Have you done a multi-day JMT section hike in 2021? Couldn't find a video for 2021 though. I am into hiking and fishing, just lean to spend more time fishing in the backpacking trip. I am going over every video of your channel right now, great work!
@@zzww9483 Thanks for the kind comments. This years trip is still in post production. Takes me a couple of months to completely assemble. We completed a small stretch missed out in prior trips up the Bear Creek to Marie Lake again. From there we set off cross country over Seven Gables Pass to the Bear Lakes, finally climbing Mt Julius Caesar before heading back home. By far the most ambitious and exciting trip to date. Hope to release later in October

Very nice video, and a great trip!! Did not like the music - is distracting. The sounds of foot steps, the chatter and breathing of hikers and the sound of the wind and weather is much more enjoyable. And besides, the scenery and your experiences in the wilderness completely fill my senses. Thanks for your work on the video.
